The reality is (whether we like it or not), we are going to stick with Davies, Sessegnon and maybe to a lesser extent Cirkin this year. It ain’t looking good so far on that front, but when you’re a Spurs fan, I guess you gotta come to the realization that we are always going to have at least one hole in the squad!

It's highly possible that we're in for him but he'd rather join United.

Given how great our board and recruitment team have been at bringing in a striker... I would say it’s highly possible we dithered about as usual and he’s now off to United instead

I honestly think we’re weaker at left back than any other position. At least we have one good striker.
Well, given the club shows no sign of ending its grand yet bizarre "no midfield creativity" experiment, we could certainly use some from our full backs.

Davies should be a squad player, not a starter. He offers nothing going forward.

I maintain that our precipitous decline can be traced to Walker leaving, Rose's knee injury, Dembele leaving and Wanyama disappearing off the face of the planet. Even peak Dembele wasn't a creator but we dominated possession enough to make things happen.

Yep, it’s not rocket science. Good players leaving, replaced by worse players = going backwards.

It’s been going on for years. Walker, Dembele, Wanyama, Peak Rose, Eriksen, Vertonghen. All gone, not a single one of them yet replaced with a player who has reached the same level in a Spurs shirt that the aforementioned achieved at their best.

Of course some of the replacements (GLC, Ndombele, Højbjerg, Doherty) may well come good but they’ve yet to prove it. It’s no mystery why we’ve gone backwards, our recruitment has been a fucking shambles window after window and Levy has done nothing to stop the bleeding.
