I didn't see anything in him today that I haven't seen before which is why I never understood why people thought him a bad player.

Touch comes with a run of games.Still has a poor touch but can cross a ball

Mental errors? You make him sound incapable. It seems to me that there is tendency on here to exaggerate some player's capabilities to prove a point one way or the other. Just looking at the posts from last week on here suggests that. Serge seems to be in that category. Serge is a pretty talented player but he shown significant faults in the past. (Switching off as well as mental errors. And the foul throw ins only magnified that perception.) Poch pretty much confirmed thta with his statement yesterday. It seemed to me it would take a couple of years for Poch to turn him into a mentally disciplined player if he was capable of that. We can only hope that he has turned that corner because that would not only be a major problem solved both defensively while allowing the club to prioritize other positions.

Here's the actual interview, in French where he does indeed say what he's reported as saying. It was no wind up or joke.
I think that he brings physicality which KWP doesn’t have and easily gets knocked of the ball. I prefer Aurier especially when Sissoko is in the team.
