Made a beeline to the fans, put his fingers in his ears, spat in the direction of fans and shouted something (which a few people, not just myself, think is “fuck off”).

I don’t blame him personally, fans have been ****s to him but I’m not sure it was entirely necessary...

I don't blame him, but I don't blame the fans for being critical of him either. He'll get over it and the fans will love him if he keeps on playing like he has been the last two games.

I’ve been one of the rare few defending Aurier. I said he was my MOTM too. That celebration doesn’t look good AT ALL though. It’s very hard to defend it.

I’d be inclined to believe that too but the rest of his celebration sort of sets the context. It’s not a positive celebration; he’s clearly fucked off.

As I said, I don’t blame him in the slightest however if the spitting was intentional, he needs to apologise.
