Not suggesting that Ryan played a blinder today, however he was involved in the 2nd goal. How important could getting 90mins in a crucital win today be for this lads confidence?

Also very solid defensively against Pool, next step is to use his attacking potential against weaker teams. Starting against Burnley

Sorry but it all seems a bit too much for Ryan. Const@ntly lost the ball, didn’t seem to know what to do when he got the ball. He has looked lost whenever he has played for us.
Hope he can improve with more outings but he may not get the chance when Reggie is available.

I'm sorry I just don't see it and never have. Fair play he's obviously worked hard on his defending. Hope he proves me wrong.

lets be honest he was average at best, if we didn't all feel the high of a win we wouldn't be praising so much, he was timid on the ball, awful foul throw, looked v weak, defending was decent however, average at best

Did well today and great for him that he got a start after having to be sacrificed tactically in the last match, good attitude from him to not moan and to work hard and put in a solid performance today.

That being said I still think we need up massively upgrade LWB and RWB.

Perisic is out of contract this summer, he’d be absolutely class and Sessengon can learn from him.

Agree. Certainly didn’t have a “good game”. Think he was the poorest of them all playing today.

He has been very solid defensively against Pool and City

Some posters never can see anything else but neg him! He had a solid game today. Feking heck?
I was saying during that he was having a good game today. 8/10 from me. I like Regi, but I think he'd have struggled more with Sterling and De Bruyne.

Totally agree and surprised to see the negativity towards his game today. I thought he had a good game, So he made a foul throw and some clown lists that as an issue with his game. Great team victory and Sess played his part well.

A couple of times today he could have knocked the ball past the defender and sprinted into space. I’m not suggesting he’s Bale but I’d like to see him open up his pace. Hopefully it comes with confidence, he’s far too reserved at times.

Will be interesting to see if Conte also wants to upgrade left wing back or stick with Sessegnon and Reguilòn.

Agree. It looked obvious to me that he is still a little short of confidence which mainly showed in those situations when he could have taken his man on. I think it will come though. In his Fulham days he was really good going forward.

I’m pleased he had a solid game overall. Let’s hope he can stay fit.

He just seems so … passive …. Indecisive … neutral. Technically and athletically he has it all. He just needs a positive mental attitude … belief.

Think for him it’s going to be down to injuries. If he can stay healthy, he should continue to get game time and hopefully build his confidence. I think these next few months are critical in determining his future at Tottenham. Hope his talent shines through by staying healthy and continuing to build confidence when called upon.

Did everything that was expected of him. Not sure what there is to complain about, as him, Davies and Sonny blocked them off down the left quite well. He looked to be lacking a bit of confidence on the ball, but I think that’s down to form more than talent.

He’s young, works hard and still has plenty of time to improve his game.
