Honestly the guy is a warrior doesn’t look anywhere near fit enough but he’s there trying to help us out, and still oozes class was times where you could see tonight that physically he just couldn’t get about yet as he would like
I thought the same but when needed the quality comes out. Give him a couple of games and sure we'll see the best of him.

Before the cash incident I think he played 30 mins as a sub and then went on international duty and got two matches under his belt before starting against Villa and looking sharp. Hopefully means he’ll be looking a lot closer to his old self come United with the two starts and more training under his belt.

Rolls Royce of a baller. Nice to hear Ian Wright acknowledge his quality at half time. He was purring about him.

I don't know if anybody else picked up on it last night but even Ian Wright described him as "beautiful to watch". Bentancur is absolute class.

He’s just very good. His first time passing is excellent and he’s better at going past people than you initially think. It’s going to be very interesting to see who Postecoglou prefers at number 6 when Bissouma returns.

They are different players. Bissouma is probably better at the most important skill in Ange’s 6, which is taking the ball in a tight space and dropping a shoulder. But Bentancur is a better all round player and a much better passer - does that make him overall more effective? One idea is that Bentancur will be more useful against teams who come to us with low blocks as his attacking passes will give us another way to pick the lock of teams. Great selection dilemma to have!

I personally think Bissouma will likely be used as a frequent rotation for both 6 and 8 with Bentancur and Sarr just probably edging it as first choice in either position. Awesome choices to have in those positions, it’s going to be really helpful to Ange once we have all available

Only selection dilemma as far as I'm concerned is who we play alongside Bentancur.

Cannot wait to see him and Maddison in the same midfield.

Pre-injury Bentancur is better than Bissouma. Doesn't lose the ball and highly consistent. He was CL-worthy.
Unsure if he would go back to that level.

Was fantastic today. Elevated the midfield especially in the second half. I know he’s good as a dm but I feel he excels further up the pitch. You can tell CM is his natural position.
