I don't think this is the case. I think it's clear we want to wait until summer to get such an important position and therefore want a loan to tide us over (hence 6 months with option for amrabat). We have also asked (according to romano) for bentacur on loan. If we wanted bentacur on a permanent we would just bid for him. They only seem to want 25m or soClearly this shows Arabat is a contingency.
Which means if Arabat does join, by definition we’ve failed to secure a number of CM targets.
It’s good to have a back up but not good that we’ve had to go so far down the list.
Yeah. Thats why Juve wont accept a loan. They are getting assured money.Didnt Villa bid £20m for him?
Or it’s another opportunity signing and a chance to get a guy both Fabio and maybe Conte like for cheap? They are both DMs but profile differently as players. Bentancur more of a playmaker, whereas Amrabat looks more like a ball winner type.Clearly this shows Arabat is a contingency.

Should have done that yesterday. Seems too late now. That’s completely done but the medical & Newcastle’s higher up is on his way to South America to oversee it.Now that we know we have big money to spend we should swoop Bruno Guimaraes from Newcastle.

Most similar player to Brozovic in Europe but younger and playing in key position that we lack, so obviously we are not interested. Hope we get someone who can progress the ball, either with passing or dribbling, we have too many static players. Betancur was rated highly few years ago, not sure if he is still good. Now that we know we have big money to spend we should swoop Bruno Guimaraes from Newcastle.
It's bizarre we aren't - honestly, if he turns out to be any good, FP's head should be on the blockNow that we know we have big money to spend we should swoop Bruno Guimaraes from Newcastle.
think this means they just rejected a proposed loan offer, not selling him outrightIsn't the story here that we inquired and Juve flat out said no?
It's also possible Arabat is ahead in the order?Clearly this shows Arabat is a contingency.
