Didn't realise that he is only 25 and that he is so versatile, so my verdict is: sure why not, even though the price horrifies me, but I guess that's what you going to have to pay for a good striker nowadays.

Not my ideal target, but the more you think about it, the more it makes sense.
I genuinely didn’t realize that as many of his goals were from in and around the six yard box. Big thanks to the poster who shared the YouTube video of his goals for Everton - Richarlison is a lot more of a poacher than I game him credit for. With Kane dropping deep he could potentially be an interesting partner up top for him too.
He will be alot better if he plays for us if he was in the lineup replacing one of Son kane Dejan Or coming off the bench I would favour our chances

I've always thought he was good player

Richarlison’s record for Brazil is very impressive. He’s scored 14 and assisted 6 in 34 games - which is pretty good on its own, but then you look at actual minutes played and he’s managed about 0.85 G/A per 90.

For me, this suggests he’ll do really well playing with better players - whether that’s running off of Kane, linking up with Son, or getting on the end of Deki’s creativity.

EDIT: Also a decent big game record - winners against Chelsea and Arsenal this season, bringing his total to 11 goals against the big six since joining Everton.

We'll be looking to sell him within a couple of seasons I think.

Massively over hyped in here imo. Jack of all trades. Other than falling on the floor or looking like he needs some anger management classes I don't see what hes good at.

People comparing him to Lamela makes me feel a bit ill.

Oh come on.

I love Lamela as much as anyone but you can’t seriously claim they’re the same calibre of player.

If you can’t see what he’s good at, go watch that montage of all his Everton goals.

He’s better than Lamela ever was, and I love Coco.

I suspect there’s probably some truth in what someone said about the reason he goes to ground so often is because it’s the only time Everton have a chance to create anything.

The real litmus test is - does he routinely do that playing for Brazil? Anyone know?

I can't see Moura making way, neither Eriksen or Richarlison is natural on the right. I think they really replace Bergwijn and Dele. I see Richarlison as more comfortable as a 9 than Bergwijn and can also play inside left. I see Eriksen as a better quality and more versatile replacement for Dele and can play inside left or right or in a midfield 3.

I think it is very likely and logical that Moura making way because he is not a good enough passer as a 10 or has the physical attributes to play as a 9. I see it as:

Richalison for Bergwijn
Eriksen for Lo Celso
Scarlett for Moura
Sarr for Dele

If you look past the diving part, he’s always the one player I worried about when facing Everton. He’s got something about him, that touch of quality in dangerous areas.

Far worse players we could sign, and definitely still plenty of growth in his game at the age of 25.

If Conte wants him, pile on.

Totally sold on this. Also for those questioning his character have a read of this:

Also I’m pretty sure a stern word from Conte and the diving would stop - if he wanted it to!
Really great article!
I've always thought Richarlison, albeit a decent footballer, could be a bad influence on our team due to his 'laddish' behaviour - i wouldn't want him to come and wreck a seemingly well-rounded environment in the club.

But this article has made me think twice - maybe he needs that nurturing that both Conte and Harry could provide.
