I'm not a really a fan of him stylistically but definitely wouldn't be against us signing him as a rotation option for any of the forward positions. He's not the most technically gifted but is a real fighter and knows where the back of the net is. Plus he is more than capable of playing as a focal point up front.

If we can get him for a reasonable fee then he's someone the club should consider. Everton paid £50m though so I really don't think they'll make him available for anything less than that....

Agree. My seemingly 'unpopular opinion' is that he'd hit big numbers for us

It’s hard to even notice his quality with how annoying he is on the pitch from an opposing fans perspective.

Just checked and it is.

They have Son, Dele, Tripps, Walker and KWP on their books amongst others, including Bremer.

Could be interesting if we do get serious about it.

I think posters are underrating him. Scores with both feet, headers, chips in with a few assists, scores in the big games he's hard worker, he's a proper fighter. His numbers would be much better with us playing with Kane, Son and Dejan.

Optimistic view though could be he’s consistently put in 7-13 goals in the prem and never played with players as good as ours who could possibly raise his level a bit.

Maybe he could get better. I don’t know, to me his technique and balance are poor and he’s quite blinkered when in possession, in general I don’t find his style of play a good fit and don’t particularly rate him as a player. Personally I rather we explore other options. Id take the likes of CDK or Terrier any day over him and both of those also have risk factors.

I'm sure we could do worse than Richarlison (there are plenty of options on that score) but when you say 'he makes goals happen' all I can say is he hasn't made many goals happen for Everton this season. I guess the only two things to celebrate if he does join us, are A) He'll be Conte's choice and B) All those free kicks he 'wins' will be for us.

Interesting you mention De Ketelaere though. Have you seen us linked with him anywhere these last few months, because I haven't.

He’s scored 5 goals from 7 when playing LW and 6 from 26 as a CF for relegation form Everton.
He’s no Son but he would improve our team as a whole IMO.

We were linked to CDK in jan but I haven’t seen much since. However, it’s early in the window so I’m hoping the links will resurface at one point.

Don’t think there is any chance the club sign someone like this, a potential PR nightmare and just funny to see from an outside perspective.

Hopefully he goes abroad to Spain or something.
