This kid will be our version of Yaya for years to come.

He has such a bright future ahead of him. Bissouma got MOTM but it was an even tie for me with Sarr.
I am disagreeing…Sarr for me was a nose ahead… he’s unreal. Have said it since he joined he’s a proper talent

So Moises Caicedo goes for £115m, and we somehow pick up the closest profile to Caicedo in world football for £15m.

Sarr has Caicedo level potential. In fact he is the best Caicedo alternative in the world.

This kid is a baller, how we were considering loaning him out is beyond me.

Him and Udogie are both showing how you develop good young players. Buy them and loan them out to a team they know or are comfortable with. Bring them back and give them game time and then you reap the rewards. We did this with Kyle Walker all those years ago and it really helped him, not so many other players between then and now have followed the same path successfully.

We have lost our way in terms of bringing in these kind of signings, even if it involves a loan-back at first, they tend to work out the best for most teams. Hope we do this more often, mixed in with a bit of good scouting ala VDV and you have a recruitment strategy that reaps dividends.

We lost our way when we employed successive managers who only wanted older, experienced players and completely disregarded any younger prospects. Thankfully, Paratici just went ahead and recruited the likes of Sarr, VdV and Udogie and we've now carried on by bringing in Ashley Phillips and potentially Gift Orban. Ange will give them their chance and I reckon Alfie Devine will get minutes at some point too.
