Anyone else think he is pretty average ? We paid £25m for a player in a position where top quality costs £60m+ and thought we got value. I think we got just what we paid for, pretty inconsistent and mainly bang average.

He's on pace for double digit league goals.. as our 5th choice attacking midfielder. We got the quality depth we paid for.

I think hes a very good rotation option, he's not currently good enough to be our starter when everyone is fit. But as a bench option your not going to get much better for the money

I’m not totally convinced. He’s been great in moments and scored some very important goals. As things stand he is a positive this season especially the early games when we really needed him. But ultimately he isn’t a starter. You have to compare him with the likes of shaqiri mahrez is he as good on his day I’d say yes but he does need a bit more consistency.

That's just bollox.

He's added great depth to our attacking options, and fills in without too much of a drop in quality.

I think there is more to come from him, but overall and so far, he's been money well spent.

In this day and age he is good value for £25m

He’s given us great depth in that position. He’s biggest problem going forward is he seems to restrict Harry.

Best attacking performing sub we have had in a while.

He adds good depth and we are comfortable starting him in big games.

Kind of player we have been looking for.

Not picking on your reply as all the replies to my post seem to uniformly disagree with my view so just using yours as an example.

You say he is a good bench option. When you see his number come up do you ever think he is a going to be a game changer ? (Yes I was at at the Nou Camp before anyone wants to reference that). I just feel he has moments of brilliance that suggest he could be amazing but 90%+ of the time he seems to go down blind alleys.

As to the point of value for money I’m not saying he isn’t a £25m player just that we didn’t get a bargain and arguably we need to stop buying players who are good for the bench and start buying players who challenge the first 11.

I don’t think he is as good as Mahrez and based on this season’s form he hasn’t been as good as Shaqiri who cost half his price.

He’s scored 8 goals, some very important ones too.

He’s doing absolutely fine and one of the few that stood up at the beginning of the season.

Think he's been solid, there is room for improvement, then again if there wasn't we wouldn't have been able to buy him for £25 mill in the first place.

Another cautionary tale for any footballer who still has desire to be a footballer and not just a millionaire.

Pretty sure he’s scored about same if not more than shaqiri. If I needed a goal I’d rather go to moura than mahrez.

He’s done ok and yes he’s popped up with some important goals. I wouldn’t say his general play has impressed that much though. I guess it’s his finishing which has been most impressive.

I’d rather he had end product (goals) which he does rather than have no end product but he hasn’t been as creative as I’d hoped!

I think Mahrez is the better player than Moura personally. Mahrez is better all round and creatively.

Shaqiri very different player to Moura. Shaqiri reminds me of Van Der Vaart a little bit actually. I think he’s been a terrific signing for that lot.
