Lucas Moura for £25M (and let's face it, that will involve lots of Levy clauses) is incredible value. At a time when the likes of Zaha (still little end product) and an unproven 17 year old Championship wing back would cost north of £40M, and Leicester turn down £50M for MAhrez. To get a Brazilian international creative AM (only forced out at PSG due to their obsession with spending more money than anyone else on the latest toys in Neymar and M'Bappe) is fantastic business. He's coming into his peak years, is motivated, and wants to play and win things.

This signing has a lot of upside whatever way you look at it, which is why Levy deserves credit for this kind of move.

For a start he offers qualities that we dont have too much of, so he could really enhance our attack and importantly our quality in depth.

But the price, as mentioned by others, is staggering given today's market. I know his star has fallen a bit but that's exactly why we're all over it, this is precisely the time to move for a player of this ilk.

His stock is lowish at the moment but there's a lot of untapped potential there which is probably one of the main attractions for us.

Let's not forgot he has contributed, and pretty handsomely, for one of the biggest Clubs in Europe at the moment and we obviously feel he's capable of developing and excelling further, something Pochettino excels in frequently - improving players.

If he scores half a dozen goals for us and propels us up into the top 4, and then stars for Brazil in the World Cup, his value could easily be £75M. Football is fickle.

Exactly, how much is Salah worth now? £100m? Doesn't take much to become worth mega bucks these days.
