I don’t know what Eric is. As a defensive midfielder he looks like a centre half playing in midfield but when he plays centre half he tends to lose concentration and makes mistakes
He can only play/perform against whats put in front of him. Regardless it is obvious that he is a massive talent and when he hits his peak will be a dominating centerback in all facets of the game. Just hope he's still at Spurs at the time.Had a good game and looked the part. It was newport thogh and you can't judge in isolation. Hopefully he can play like that regularly and against better oposition and we will have a very good player.

Sometimes you just know. It's in his body shape and how he handles himself on the pitch. Doesnt matter if the game was being played on some cow patch against a bunch of Welsh farmers or against Boca Jrs and River in some of the biggest stadia in south america. As i said you can't judge in isolation. Phil ifil had a fantastic game for us when he was younger than foyth but was never heard from again.
Give him time he will have good games and bad for us but hopefully becomes a great player.
I dont think the choice is as obvious as you think it is.I look at it this way..
Would I want to keep Foyth or would I like to have Stones?
No contest is it?
Think this lad has everything needed to be monumental in the future, can't say that for any other CB youngsters in the PL.

They'd be a few, Rondon, Aguero, but honestly cant think of many other. His footballing IQ would help him out a lot and the physical "weakness" wouldnt be that big of a concern.Looks like he’s getting a bit of a cult following already. Anyone would think he’d kept Suarez and Messi quiet for 90 minutes.
He’s got potential, and he looks to have good ball control, but any striker in the premier league would bully him without too much problem. He needs more matches, and to bulk up before I’d be happy with him starting over any of our other defenders. A loan somewhere in the Championship next season would do him the world of good.

and who are these traditional target men in the prem? not many, and even so I still believe he could handle himself well against the physical threat. Just like how Toby and Jan do cerebally.Any traditional target man would have him on toast.
Wow...Rawk levels of delusion.
Seems like a RAWK reply so......
Obviously you understood all that I wrote but if/as you didn't I've emboldened the main point of my post
