I’ll be honest - I thought he was a bit of a nob before he came but he’s done nothing but impress me since he’s been here. Happy to eat humble pie on this one
Never really thought that, always thought he was just passionate about football, always liked Hart as a keeper, definitely good enough for us.

mans it’s great to see what he brings to the club in terms of experience to the youngers as well

Agree 100%, i was the same, didn't like him, always remember a photo or video of him shouting at a ballboy and just seemed to be a bit of a D**K.
but from what i have seen from him here a very good pro.
just shows how much i didn't really pay much attention other players just ours.

He has really realised that he's now a proper senior player that has the experience of winning things, and that is what he can contribute with. As long as he gets games here and there, he will be happy doing this. Might be a future coach too, who knows.

Honestly i never liked him, thought he was full of himself and a bit of a cock tbh, but having him in the squad you can see he is a top pro, sound lad and knows his place in the squad as a senior player but also a competitor...he has really changed my view of him i was wrong.

A homegrown back up keeper, with bags of experience, who’s having a positive influence on our squad, and he was free. Great signing.

He might have changed since leaving City too. Realised that with his fall from grace, he might be more humble. He seemed so genuinely happy in his Welcome-video, to come into a top club again after being released from Burnley.

Most underrated signing we made this summer. His influence in the dressing room alone will be a huge reason for us being top of the league at the moment, he will be driving the team forwards. Imagine now looking round the dressing room when our best 18 are there and you've got:
-Hugo Lloris -Captain and WC winner
-Aurier - Captain of Ivory Coast?
-Toby - multiple title winner with Ajax and incredible player
-Dier - natural leader type character

-Regullion - Won EL with Sevilla
-PEH - on-pitch captain, leader, winner
-Sissoko - very experienced solid pro

-Ndombele - such a talent
-Son - S.Korea captain and world class forward, match winner
-Bale - Gareth bloody Bale ladies and Gents, 4x CL winner, Wales Captain, match winner
-Kane - Eng captain and best striker in the world, match winner

Bench:
-Joe Hart- 75 Eng caps and PL and FA Cup winner
-Doherty - Solid pro, Ireland International

-Sanchez/Rodon - Columbia and Wales internationals and top players
-Davies - Such a solid pro and stand in Wales Captain
-GLC - absoloute baller
-Lucas/Dele/Bergwijn/Lamela - Top top players, all internationals
-Vinicius - Superb back-up striker

You'll be looking round and thinking yea, we can beat anyone with this lot

Leaders are a huge part of winning something, Joe Hart is/was such a clever clever signing, he'll be there pre-game, half time, during the game, after the game shouting, encouraging, getting players pumped up.

LOVE IT!

He had basically nothing to do but to stay warm last night. Happy for Alfie getting his debut and Hart for taking it on the chin for being subbed. He's become a role model and always being honest in interviews. I like that. Possibly a keeper trainer for us when he retires.

"PEH - on-pitch captain, leader, winner"

His professionalism and mentality came across very strongly in his club interview immediately after signing. As soon as I'd seen that, I understood exactly why Jose signed him.

Really nice interview...albeit there was no need for the comedy Zoolander-style blue Steel sign off at the end

Made me think of this...

Just every time I see him he's giving a good account of himself. Seems like a great leader to have in the dressing room. Love the look he gives the camera after Kane puts his 5th one in a row into the corner too :ROFLMAO:

Obviously they’re not going to show miserable players training or anything, but we look like we have a really happy group of players who genuinely love training and playing together.

So SC was wrong about a player, quele surprise.
In fairness it was mainly that lunatic from across the pond, I cant think of anyone I know that wasn't just a bit "insert Alan Partridge gif" about the whole thing when it happened. But I like Hart, seems to be the opposite of a **** which helps.
