He'll probably go, but if he does we will get good money that can be re-invested elsewhere. We have an able back up in both Vorm and Kane.

Just to point out, I was being sarcastic.
I don't for a minute believe that his head has been turned, yet, and I do think he's happy where he is.

However, I do think that we will start seeing offers come in during the summer.
With regards to Arsenal making a bid, I do see it happening. I also think it will be laughed off, but if he's happy living in London and wants to play in the CL...
We would not sell to Arsenal unless we could be seen to be getting something equal from the deal. That would mean one or more of their decent players. Cannot see it happening. Levy would not let them make a mug of him after what happened with Judas.

To be perfectly honest, losing Lloris wont be a huge impact. Of course , it will be painful to see him in a United shirt but fact is even he couldnt keep a cleansheet since November - courtesy our leaky defense.

I dont think Vorm for Lloris is bad replacement. Vorm isnt a sweeper keeper like Lloris, but IMO has very god distribution including fast long throws which Lloris doesnt possess.

Biggest loss in Lloris going will be the perspective that yet another world class player has left us.

There are very decent keepers out there at not so expensive price.

In PL, Adrian from west ham would be brilliant - has got only one year on the deal - but I guess it would be difficult to deal with their lot.
Losing Lloris would have a big impact. He might not have been able to keep a cleansheet but that's cause defence is poor and the only reason teams haven't scored more goals and he have won some of those games is because of Lloris' saves.

If we lose a world class player in a team that isn't full of world class players like ours, it will have a big impact.

A bid from Arsenal would be as pointlessly ridiculous as sticking an extra quid on their Suarez bid. It'll get laughed all the way back at them. Why would both Man Utd and Real bid? If De Gea stays at Utd, they don't need to. If Utd need a new keeper it'll be because De Gea's gone to Real.

It's funny, Liverpool won't be in the Champions League next season either, which will mean only one season of CL in the last six for them (just like us) yet you don't see the press trying to engineer moves for their best players.
Erm, Sterling?

Erm, Sterling?
Hardly, he is bringing on that on by himself by not signing a contract and also interviews. Lloris hasn't dont any of that, yet they are looking to engineer a move for him - nothing to suggest he wants to leave other than he is very good.

I don't want Hugo to go and I don't think he will go but i've been wrong before on such issues (many times :().

If he does go we need to reassess our entire playing style. Our high line only makes sense at all because we have one of the world's best sweeper/keepers. Without Lloris we should abandon it. Fazio especially might be worth keeping as he won't be such a liability. I'd quite fancy Pantilimon as our 1st choice replacement.

It really comes down which club can give 25m for Lloris. Madrid & PSG are only clubs. People here forget the pulling power of PSG. If PSG want him they will get him.
But given FFP, I see PSG moving for Cech as a cheaper option. Also Chelsea wouldnt want him to be sold to Arsenal or Liverpool IMO.

Is 25 million his release clause as I read somewhere before he has a RC when he signed his new contract. If not he's worth much more than that.

i'd take oxlade-chamberlain. i can't see how any spurs >< arsenal transfer would ever happen though.

That's not the press though, Is it?!! Sterling is quite obviously stalling on signing a new contract.

That might be the case, it might not, he might genuinely want to leave it all to the end of the season and deal with it then and just concentrate on playing football, but it's the press who says he's stalling and considering his options and saying Juve want to buy him this summer, he hasn't come out and said 'I don't know whether to sign a new contract or not' has he?

The press hinting that Juve would like him and them saying he wants out are two different things.

Much prefer getting Begovic in, seven years after he was meant to come...

what like Sterling you mean?

Sturridge is always injured, the rest of them are quite shit.

Apart from Ibe and Can, imho.
