He didn't give me anything to worry about... a little nervous perhaps and to be expected I suppose..... I must say though given the choice I'd have paid a little extra for Raya. The bigwigs decided otherwise though so let's see how he develops.
Brentford fans did exactly what they should and I'd hope we do the same. It's all part of the game and something he'll need to deal with.
One of the earliest games I can remember we were shouting who ate all the pies to Kevin pressman of sheff weds. It is 100% normal, how long have you been watching football?Well then I hope every other set of fans does that to them with their new keeper and they get relegated as a result. Serves them right for being buggers with raya.

I think he will be targeted this season as seems an emotional lad, however he has played in Italy the home of all dirty tricks so should be fine.
I was just hoping for a goalkeeper who was going to be a calm influence on an incredibly poor defence last season.
Im sure he will be fine but I did wonder if this was the style of keeper Ange approved, maybe an option over Forster might be needed as he is not the most mobile
Clearly had some nerves, but looks decent. He’s going to take a while to settle in and get used to the premier league. I do think he has some worrying tendencies that will be exploited by the opposition at the current time. But once he settles he should be ok.
We need to be patient.
Going by some of the comments about Vicario and others. Patients ain’t happeningHe’s going to take a while to settle in and get used to the premier league. I do think he has some worrying tendencies that will be exploited by the opposition at the current time. But once he settles he should be ok.

So does Raya. Watch Brentford's 5-1 loss to Newcastle last season.I’d like us to try and nip in on the Raya deal if it hasn’t been announced already.
it is early doors but Vic doesn’t fill me with confidence, not so much his ability to stop the ball but he’s strikes me as a player who’s going to have moments of madness pretty regularly.
if we don’t get a second keeper someone has to have a word about those parries in to dangerous areas, lucky not to be punished today.
Peter Schmeichel disagrees. Not really i didn’t call him shit and that we should get rid, he’s got some traits that do not fill me with confidence, as i’m sure many feel the same.
i said i’d like us to nip in for Raya at 20m, 2 keepers fighting for the spot would elevate both and cover us.
This is it really, he seems very calm and composed on the ball (too calm on that one first few seconds of the game), but he is coming from the Italian League which, let's face it, doesn't prioritize high, coordinated pressing across the league nor has the level of pace and speedy players that exists in the PL.Think things are probably just a little fast for him, at the moment but I think As he gets more used to the speed of this league, he’s going to be really good. We just need to be patient with him, he’s going to screw up, but he’s already an upgrade at the goalkeeper position, and I’d expect him to only get better.
