He was definitely nervous last week. This performance will have filled him with confidence.

Neville’s refusal to give him any credit today was laughable. While spaffing his pants any time Onana passed it 5 yards.

Vic was great today, and this is a position you grow into, month by month he is just going get stronger and more confident as he makes the position his own. I can see why they said he was one of the best if not the best in Italy last season. Looking like he could be a bargain.

Excellent today. Very weird the reaction to him from some fans so early on. Think it’s been more a reaction to not getting Raya than anything Vic has done. Thought everything he did today was very assured.

Was great today. Reflex saves, good passing from the back. He will definitely only get better the more games he plays

He is absolutely fine. Wasn't really worried about the majority of his goalkeeping skills, but didn't think his awkwardness with the ball at his feet would dissipate, but no problems with that shown today at all. Looked more confident for sure.

Made a couple of excellent saves today. Once our back line gel there are some really promising signs for a strong future.

Was really weird how much Neville downplayed it. It was a phenomenal save. Meanwhile he fawned over Onana playing a few long balls.
