Anyone know if he had these frequent issues before he joined us? Clearly we have had a lot of injuries lately and I am not suggesting there is an issue with training or staff but it is starting to get a bit worrying.

Brillant... on to the CM market
Yep has to be surely, this is madness.

I hope PEH starts vs Man.U, not Skipp and then after that game before the FA Cup game I hope we sign another CM, Gallagher etc.

I love little Gio he’s shown this season how class he can be but he is very injury prone unfortunately, can absolutely see why Ange wants another n.o8.

Think you can find his injury record on transfer market site

I like the bloke but given we can’t seem to be able to play him, I think his times up.. needs replacing

From official app -
"Both obviously came off in the last game [Davies and GLC]," Ange began. "Ben has got a hamstring injury so it'll probably be around four or five weeks (out for him).

"Gio is similar but it is a little bit more complicated. We're still trying to get to the bottom of it. I think he is having another assessment on Monday but he will miss this game (United clash).

Sounds like GLC could be longer than initially reported

It’s a real shame but think we need to move him on in the summer.

He just can’t be relied on.

Sadly think it's time to cash in on Gio. I like him, think he has the technical ability he just isn't fit consistently enough. And fitness/being available is key to Ange's demanding style.

I wonder if it's a Sess situation where he just needs this surgery to fix it once and for all. Unfortunately for him/us judging by Sess recovery time of a year, we don't have that long to wait with him only having 18 months(?) On his contract.

Such a shame, it seems every time that he gets some form behind him, something happens and he's missing for 4-5 matches. With his contract starting to wind down, I agree with others that if an offer came for him, you'd have to consider moving him on rather than extending perhaps.

I have high hopes for one of Donley or Devine being able to be an understudy to Maddison, just would have bene nice to have a solid alternative for another season or so as the youngsters can keep getting valuable loans or game time.

I think he’s one where we say with Maddison, Kulu and Donley we can let him go and use the funds to strengthen elsewhere. I like him, and it’s unfortunate because he looks like he may finally be settled here, but it’s just hard to rely on him to stay fit.

We can probably get a reasonable fee for him in Europe and as others have said it's time for him to move on (imo). I've never been a big fan of his as is probably quite obvious - no doubt he is a talented player but for most of his time here he mostly didn't seem to settle or really want to be here, had some good moment but was injured a lot and never found a rhythm. Has had a few good moments in the past couple of months but still for me just doesn't offer enough to be a regular here and unfortunately his injuries just keep happening.
