If one more person says we are short at right back! FFS it’s Poch choice to play foyth as a right back, secondly what the point of bringing through young laters like KWP and. Keep blocking their path. That’s without giving aurier a decent chance. We don’t need a right back. Lo celso and sessegnon and I’m very happy with this window

Yeah I’d be happy with that if Eriksen signs a new deal, also keeping Toby and Rose for one more year.

If you notice, this guy has also played on what Gards Tweeted & then fabricated it for his own agenda.

Gards' Tweet is based on Poch not being happy "at present" and I assume this is due to not having our main targets already in place. Doesn't mean that Levy won't eventually deliver and I am confident (okay hopeful) that he will come through and everyone will be happy

My issue with the majority of takes on Gards tweets is that it's Levy's fault. The club want Toby and Rose gone, but no one's taking them. Possibly because the players wage demands are too much. If Eriksen won't re-sign they want to sell him too but Madrid appear to have him well down their shopping list.

I never really believed that GLC, at Betis reported price, was going to come in w/o someone leaving. The club moved quickly w/their surplus to sign Poch's primary target. The rest is all waiting on outgoings.

Maybe Poch is unhappy at present because the players he want's to sell won't move for whatever reason. Maybe it's not Levy's fault.

Hear me out here lads..

MAYBE, just MAYBE, if we did some of the business that we need to do LAST summer, there wouldn't be as many key areas needing addressing in the last 10 days.

Just a thought.

are you saying we should of kidknapped Poch A targets last season because he didn't want any B targets

GLC and Sess has to be the absolute minimum and that is only if Eriksen stays. If he goes then a replacement is also needed.

I still think its a joke that we arent even replacing Trippier and shoe horning a CB into the role instead.

Smacks of making do with trippier when we sold Walker when lots of us said he wasn’t good enough. I know we signed Aurier that window but that was a last minute panic when we couldn’t get anyone else.

the other 2 Poch targets couldn't be acclimatised

Toby won't be offered a new contract, not unless him and Poch have seriously made up. in fact after JJ's news before the end of the season, the failure to sell Toby might be what's given Poch the hump

We haven't had any ITK saying we will replace Trippier. we had if Trippier and Aurier were sold we would buy. Also Poch sees our team train everyday and is happy to play Foyth, just because you might not think he can do a job, means nothing to Poch, and now we get to see if KWP is ready or be sold later.

Rose is going to Germany to play in this preseason tournament, so possibly if Poch wants a LB and Rose goes he will either stick with Davies and use Sess or someone else.

Perhaps that's because no one has offered up money for those others, and that they are player/players we might pay off

Wish I could "winner" this twice.

Just where has all the money gone? We're only at about 30 million net spend this summer, and we've still got the money from last two windows in our pockets.

One signing, and a kid who is years away from being good enough, is NOT backing Poch. I suppose we shouldn't be surprised, Levy never changes. If GLC does come in but ends up being a straight swap with Eriksen going out, and we don't sign another big player on top of that, I'll be pissed as Levy will have just been mugging us all off.

The only way I'll be happy is GLC in, Eriksen stays. Or GLC in, A dybala or someone else, and Eriksen goes.

I honestly think that is the absolute bare minimum Poch and us fans need and deserve after two years of no signings and no ambition in the market.

I just want the window to close really as it's exasperating.

have I been a sleep and this is the winter window, or is 2years the new 18months which 5 of those months no one was allowed to buy players

Their latest signing of first team players was the 19th July and the window closed on the 9th Aug. They also spent a huge amount on VVD the previous window

think your find Shaqire signed on the last day, and Allison signed after the World Cup, but didn't do preseason

edit: I know I got this wrong, but they both were involved in the WC, both had a break even if not 3 weeks.

Don't rewrite it. We chased Aurier for weeks and only signed him late because of legal issues. But I guess it fits the narrative to say every 'bad' signing is due to the club messed around.

We still do have to RBs plus Foyth, not being shoe horned, is very capable of playing there. Fuss about nothing me thinks
- 2017/2018 Tottenham make world record £113m profit
- over €100m euros earnings from last year's CL run alone
- most expensive tickets
- Just built a 1 billion GBP stadium
Would be unbelievable if we just sign TN and JC this window as well.

No one knew who he was a few months back :)

Speak for yourself, pal. Not all of us are ignorant to anything that isn’t Spurs. He’s been a highly rated prospect for years, and until January played for PSG. It’s not like he’s playing in the Irish fourth division.

I like many are getting a little "twitchy" over this transfer window but remain generally pretty positive.

If this transfer doesn't go through now though, i will feel that we have failed to a degree.

COYS, let's do it.

Goodbyes to his family in Argentina it looks like. Could easily be as he’s due back to Betis on Tuesday/Wednesday.

I am a businessman and understand how deals go down and I do expect this GLC deal to go through.

However, if it falls through and we don’t have a decent Plan B, nobody is going to remember ‘poor little Daniel, he tried his best, but Betis screwed him over and what was he supposed to do?’. All that will be seen is how lacking in depth we are, another season potentially gone begging.

Yes it’s business, but in the real world people that don’t produce get fired. Cut your cloth accordingly, get the deal done and suck it up .......or stop pretending to play with the big boys, all we’ve heard for several transfer windows is excuses.
