He just never seemed to settle at the club at all. These things happen I guess. Hopefully he has a great World Cup and starts a bidding war. Optimistic rating... ?

I said a few weeks ago that a dry loan was the second-best option behind a permanent move and I stand by that.

If he does well at the World Cup his stock will be higher than it is today, and with another season worth of revenue clubs in Europe should be in better financial health a year from now as well.

It’s perfectly plausible that his value could increase between now and next summer.

Yeah, a buy option is usually to the advantage of the buying club anyway. If the player proves worthy of the fee, they activate it, if not they don't.

It seems like Villarreal are trying to do what I sometimes do on FM, though. Loan a player until his contract expires and then secure him on a free,
Hopefully a loan fee that reflects his value and remainder of his contract otherwise if you keep loaning them year after year you might as well give him away free now.

Agree. Half season in La liga. Decent World Cup. Clubs still putting distance between themselves and Covid. Option would have only benefitted Villarreal.

I'm sure he will be prime Messi at La Liga again. He's neven liking the English culture and our club as much as the fans are giving him so much patience. The way he took the first plane to Argentina camp every time for national games and posted so much in his IG than his games here in Spurs was the beginning of my irritation.

Bye.

Suppose on the brighter side it’s another loan fee, they’ll probably pay full wages and in a years time the market will hopefully be much better and the 18/20m fee could still be possible

My Nan can kick a ball harder than he can.
Does your Nan have better shooting accuracy than Lo Celso.
Lo Celso PL stats shooting accuracy 24% and just for comparison with a Spurs legend , Sissoko PL stats shooting accuracy 32%, can she beat that.

Shut the door on the way out
The only one that deserves that instruction is Ndombele.

Lo Celso, Wilks and Reguilon were players who wore our shirt with pride and the only thing they were guilty of, is that they were not good enough.

Your comment seems a bit mean and disrespectful to players who very recently, we were cheering.
