Honestly I know I’ve missed the ginger Pele and that with my age but I remember watching Gilberto in the few times he played and thought he was shocking!

Such a great interview, cheers for posting. It’s still so surreal he is playing for us. Will need a couple of months to get up to speed but I think he will contribute immediately.

You can tell he’s desperate to do well for both himself but also for us fans. I definitely believe him when he says it’s sad we won’t be in the ground to welcome him back for his first game. It would of been incredible.

Lovely stuff. He seems to be very happy and as though a weight has been lifted.

Also very confident in his own body and level headed enough to know how his game will be adapted as he gets older.

I think he will be massive for us and really inspire those around him.

Anyone else kinda forgetting that we are actually going to have him playing for us? Just having him celebrating in the stands has been a nice morale boost, almost like he's a club ambassador or something!

Gonna be so surreal when he finally plays. Can't wait. His first goal back for us will be a special moment no doubt.
