FWIW if I had to guess at what might cause a delay, I’d say approvals. Producing any content requires multiple approvals, so even with in-house teams it can be tough to get things done fast. Factoring in the significance of this signing, I’m sure it’s even worse. Every pleb in the corporate hierarchy will suddenly rate themselves a Cannes Lion winning Creative Director, insisting their pedantic feedback is the difference between global viral success and social media obscurity. Levy will no doubt be micro-managing, plus Bale’s team will also have their say.
