See when it gets complicated is when the negotiations go on for ages and our fax machine breaks down just before the deadline....
Love how everyone is ripping @spursie for re-posting a single joke by spamming the thread up with the same "nice one, dumbass" style comments over and over
Spursie: One post
Nervous Spurs fans: Eight dozen telling him that wasn't funny - classic SC
I'm on an online conference call, and was asked to comment on a question while I was watching the video above. Had to play the 'sorry, my connection fell out, can you repeat' card.
Yeah. Lesson learned. Sorry my bad. Deleted my cockup.Well done on this original joke when it was done twice yesterday..
This smacks of when Thierry Henry went back to Arsenal. Token gestures.
I know I keep repeating it but this is what happened when he was all lined up to go to China. They thought they were getting him for nothing and then Madrid wanted a fee and it toppled the deal. They were desperate to get rid of him then but were happy to fuck the deal then, I really doubt they will be that bothered doing it again.
he does say no problems though in fairness.
Currently quoting my name on Conference calls as Gareth Bale?
This thread can turn on a sixpence!I sense a slip into the doubt and panic stage...
He’s starting his rubbish again!Gareth Bale's agent says a move to #thfc is now close: "It is close but not done. It is a complicated deal." [AFP]
Is Gareth fit at the moment? Thought I read something about a knee injury.
Yeah. Lesson learned. Sorry my bad. Deleted my cockup.
Could you hum it please.Soo let me get it straight. You all changed your avatars to get Bale home, just because why not, no media reports. After few hours we started getting reports that it may happen. Today it looks like it's almost done. Plus we are singing Reguilon.
No one will ever ever believe us.
Pretty sure he only has 2 years left on his deal
You know what, I can’t even remember Henry going back to Arsenal. Did that really happen?
