Pablo Zabaleta is one of my favourite players of the PL era. Plays fast & hard, but I don't ever recall him being nasty in the challenge. Seems to give it 100% every time. Great all round attitude, and a very good player of course.

Argentina were poor for much of that match, and as much as i love Lamela, bar the nice assist, he was anonymous and gave the ball away a few times. Saying that, Di Maria and Benaga were exactly the same. I do think he needs to be actually played at 10 for a few games at Spurs, I think he can make the most of his skills in that position, yet again his assist last night came from the AMC position,

I also watched the game and agree with your assessment to the fullest. Would also like to see him being played at No 10 and not only for one game. Give him a run in this position and I am sure he will pleasantly surprise alot of us.

hence I always suspect Poch may think he could be Eriksen's competition this season with no playmaker signed..

Here's a provocative question: how much should he be paid compared to Toby A, Walker, and Eriksen? More? The same? Less?
