Bournemouth join Aston Villa, Tottenham and Everton in pursuit of ex-Cherries forward Arnaut Danjuma - with the 25-year-old Villarreal winger available on loan amid relationship breakdown with Spanish team-mates

  • Villarreal winger Arnaut Danjuma is available on loan and has gained interest
  • It comes amid a breakdown in relations with some of his Spanish team-mates
  • Danjuma has been on the radar of Champions League clubs over recent seasons
  • Bournemouth, Aston Villa, Spurs and Everton are all interested in signing him
Bournemouth have joined Aston Villa, Tottenham and Everton by expressing interest in re-signing their former winger Arnaut Danjuma.

The 25-year-old Villarreal forward is available on loan amid a breakdown in relations with some of his Spanish team-mates.

Danjuma was formerly a Bournemouth player from 2019 to 2021 before he made his move to La Liga where he has become a highly-rated forward.

He has been on the radar of Champions League clubs over recent seasons and has scored 22 goals in 51 games since moving to Spain in a £22m deal.

Earlier this week, Sportsmail reported that Everton had approached Villarreal over the signing of Danjuma.

The Premier League strugglers are in desperate need of a forward to boost Frank Lampard's relegation fight.

However, due to the finances of the club, Lampard and his team are restricted to the loan market for now.

But the Toffees face stiff competition and a reunion at the Vitality Stadium might be the next step in Danjuma's career.

The forward scored 17 goals in 52 appearances during his two-year spell on the south coast.

Bournemouth are eager to make signings in January as Gary O'Neil looks to strengthen his squad in a bid to stay up.

He mostly plays up front these days, although he can play LW. I honestly don’t think there is anything in this. Would be an odd move.

That's all i need to know

The players we are linked with is depressing
Nah. Danjuma would come in as a 6th attacker. Not everyone signing has to be from the top bracket all the time. Plus, this guy’s stocks were super high in the summer. Not sure what’s happened this season but hes great in 1v1 and technically very secure. Massive upgrade on Lucas and great Son cover.

Aston Villa wanted Bentancur...

Just because a big team isn't interested in a player doesn't mean they're not good.

Doesn't say who he is speaking to, other than that Bournemouth are interested in re-signing him. Just for information.

Arnaut Danjuma has arrived in the UK after being given permission by Villarreal to hold talks with clubs about a loan move in January.

The 25-year-old forward is available to leave the La Liga side on a temporary basis, although an option or obligation to buy may be included.

A number of teams from the Premier League and elsewhere in Europe are interested in signing the Netherlands international, who joined Villarreal from AFC Bournemouth in 2021 and is under contract there until June 2026.

Following Villarreal’s 1-1 draw at Celta Vigo on Friday night, in which he remained on the bench, Danjuma was allowed to fly to London on Saturday in a bid to resolve his future.

The Athletic reported on Thursday that Bournemouth are interested in re-signing Danjuma on a six-month loan deal until the end of the season.

The winger has scored 22 goals in 51 appearances for Villarreal since his move away from the south coast.

Danjuma previously scored 17 goals in 52 appearances during his two-year spell at the Vitality Stadium.
