If he can do that more regular, he can save us £40m this season that can be spent elsewhere, quality today

I now want to see a Romero and Sanchez CB partnership. The fact they speak Spanish should help them get up to speed and communicate during the game.

I've been his biggest critic in the past, but I'll honestly admit he was fantastic today (and against Arsenal). If he keeps this up he will be far better than a new signing to "fill a gap".

Lots of talk about how Mourinho throws his players under the bus in the media but hard to watch this and not come away feeling like his stone age tactics effectively threw his CBs under the bus ON the pitch. Not sold on Dier quite yet but Sanchez looks like someone we should keep.

This was a Sanchez performance like when he first came to the club. Confident, assured and did the simple things well.

Will be very interesting to see what happens cb wise now, performances like today can definitely change opinions, does FP stick or twist now?
