It's concerning that he hasn't been pictured at all in training yet this preseason despite all of the other England internationals being present...

Alasdair Gold saying Rose isn’t travelling on the tour and hasn’t been in pre-season training so far.

A lot of moving pieces at the moment, didn't think Rose would be involved considering we're on the verge of jetting off for our tour.

It's never dull at Spurs.

He’s off then. I must say I’m a little surprised as I don’t see how we upgrade on him. Sessegnon if he comes isn’t ready to play fullback at a title challenging team.

I'm hoping the trippier/rose news means we're confident on a couple of deals.

I thought Rose was a huge part of our CL run. Fantastic fighting spirit and seems to get on really well with Poch. Will be such a shame if we let him go.

As others have said Sessegnon is unlikely to be ready to be a starting LB, probably needs to work his way in. If we were getting Chilwell then fine, but I imagine he'd be too costly. I do like the look of Tierney and Digne (who had been mentioned in a potential swap for Rose).

LB seemed like an area we could put on ice for a year whilst also bedding Sessegnon in.

Many of us will be very sorry to see him go but it does seem there is a very clear policy not to renew contracts for players 29 and over now and that if we get offers in their final year then they'll be off. I do think it's a mistake to let him go as he was back to his best towards the end of the season and has at least two top seasons in him. We shouldn't make too many changes to the XI either.

Such an odd situation. Even if he is off the fact he isn't even training is weird. Has he even been linked with anyone??

We'll really miss him if he goes which is looking more likely

I think Rose going is worrying personally. He is a player that if he's playing I know we won't have to worry about the LB position, in which I personally can't say the same about when Davies is playing there and we won't know about how Sessegnon performs of he fills that space.

Just means that all in all we'll be left with another (seemingly unnecessary) position to address when there are other positions that vitally need addressing that we're all waiting for us to fill.

Also, we're just losing a very good left back, will be annoying to see him go.
