I thought Rose was a huge part of our CL run. Fantastic fighting spirit and seems to get on really well with Poch. Will be such a shame if we let him go.

As others have said Sessegnon is unlikely to be ready to be a starting LB, probably needs to work his way in. If we were getting Chilwell then fine, but I imagine he'd be too costly. I do like the look of Tierney and Digne (who had been mentioned in a potential swap for Rose).

LB seemed like an area we could put on ice for a year whilst also bedding Sessegnon in.

Worrying if we're looking to replace him with Sessegnon. Not against us signing Sessegnon but I'm not convinced RS is totally ready to play LB week in week out for us. I think we need more of a like for like replacement for Rose with Sessegnon potentially replacing Davies in a couple of years when we can sell at peak age.

Tierney would be one of my choices, reckon we could get him for 25-30m, probably the amount we could get for Rose. Play RS further forward for a season or two.

Rose will be looking for a big final contract, similar to Trippier, as it doesn't look like we're going to offer it to him it makes sense to cash in now rather than let him go for free. I think he forfeited any chance of getting a new contract when he had his little tirade a couple season back.

There’s no way sessengon is ready to replace rose. No matter how good he ends up. Rose is a established premier league player , one of our better players post Christmas. If this is what poch is thinking then I find it quite bizarre. Davies getting a new 5 year deal also baffled me maybe rose kicked off about it , strange if he is going ?

He hasn't even left yet guys. With his various past issues, there are a plethora of reasons he may not be training.

Personally not fussed if he does go, as long as he's adequately replaced.
