Really disappointed in how Danny was portrayed in the documentary.

Danny has been an outstanding servant for this club and probably the best left back I can remember playing for the club in the last 40 years. Every budding comedian on social media seems to have cracked a crap gag about AC Milan when the news broke that it looks like he’s off to Genoa. He does not deserve this.

Cognitive dissonance. Ultimately the documentary can only show words he actually said, whatever claims there may be of editing. If you don't like the way he was portrayed, then you don't like the words he said. The guy is just an arsehole

He is a bellend. He hasn’t been an outstanding servant, he has taken every opportunity to have a dig when he can. Ledley was an outstanding servant to our club, Ginola was, Superjan was, Danny Rose hasn’t been

imagine a peak Ledley and SuperJan at the back....I think I might need a minute actually...

I'm avoiding the documentary. But, honestly, do not underestimate the power of editing, it's really not hard to distort and frame words out of context to create negative or positive narratives. I have no fight in this. Though it is worth pointing out that Rose has had mental health issues and has has done exemplary public work on that front, something that I appreciate a lot.

It’s not difficult to make some one sounds like a **** when they continually act like one

We were already paying his wages though.

On two levels - we don't know that we were, as we paid a fee (sometimes that is to cover wages too). Secondly, he will have signed on more generous terms with us - that we can be sure of.

I appreciate the point you're making, but it's hard to get into the semantics of editing if you haven't seen it. I just think that it would have been very hard for them to misrepresent what was happening in the context. On mental health, I think that is constantly used as a firewall to excuse his behaviour, in increasingly contorted ways. It takes some serious stretching to apply that to everything he is consistently saying and doing. I think it can be true that one suffers from mental health problems but is also just not a nice person

The confrontation Danny had with Jose on the amazon show happens every single day at clubs across the country. Has nobody ever had an issue at work and it’s got bit heated with there boss ffs? Was he wrong in asking why the manager chose to play a right footed CB at LB instead of him? Nope.. for me I’ve always loved how somewhat normal he is for a footballer. He shares the opinions we moan about on this forum and gets ripped ??‍♂️

Danny may not be the most intelligent, But he has in my opinion always given 100% on the pitch, And have arguably been our best left back ever. Yes the "google" comment was dumb, but to be honest there is some truth in it. He wanted the club to step up, he has ambition but sometimes it presents in a way that is not that constructive.

I see comments here calling him an arsehole, and it more or less goes unnoticed. But in the Ndombele thread when facts are stated that he is fat, lazy and have clear signs of bad attitude people goes bananas. And people call in the russian fake account mob to defend him...

Lets give a man that has been at the club for 13years some respect. I think he deserve some

Agree on Danny. But there is no fact that Ndombele is any of those things.

You ruin your defence of Danny by then trying to present an opinion as fact on Ndombele...talk about scuppering your own argument...sheesh

Genoa is a beautiful place - absolutely stunning. There are, of course, some highly publicised cases of racism in Italian football but there's a rise everywhere in openly racist behaviour. Just look at twitter and the far right rallies here - and the undertones in our current Government encouraging the rise in Nationalism, not to mention the USA. I'd rather be in Genoa!
