Can’t confess to know much about this guy?
Could anyone give me a brief of his qualities and what he’d bring and where he needs to improve?

Some of us seem to be painting him to be the next best thing, are we getting over excited or is he the real deal?

He's basically the best defender in the world right now, unless we don't sign him, in which case he was trash. ;)

I don't know shit either but Fabrizio Romano describes him as an old school defender in the most positive way you can imagine. Very aggressive, fighter, reads the game well. Not the most gifted with his feet but not terrible.

He's like a god walking among mere mortals
He has a voice that could make a wolverine purr
He wears suits so fine it makes Sinatra look like a hobo
In other words Cristian Romero is the balls

Over excited? Not at all. As for his qualities; if Beckenbauer and Baresi had a child it’s name would be Christian Romero!

But is his face bright like deer bright? That's the real question. ;)

Sometimes maybe good, sometimes maybe shit?

Would be a massive signing and shows real signs of intent.

Although he does have some lapses of concentration, you can tell by watching the clips and even watching him in the Copa America final, he done something stupid where he almost lost the ball in his box.

However, as a defender, the guy is a beast. Would love him to be apart of our backline.

Looks as though he loves a tackle just as much as PEH.

About time we got some real warriors in our team.

Good point, and with Skipp potentially in the side too. Would love for us to get back to being a team that are just not nice to play against for the majority of other sides. Players like these as well as the high press, energy, strength and fitness that Nuno is trying to incorporate will hopefully make us as such.

Ah!

So technically he is still a Juventus player then, meaning Paratici must already know him very well personally. That’s encouraging.

Paratici negotiated him from Genoa to Juve (I think). And would have negotiated the loan to Atalanta. We have employed the man who knows this deal inside out.

Atalanta have an option to sign him for EUR 15m (ish). So we are negotiating with them, as they will sign from Juve and then flip to us. fingers crossed ?
