This is Romero comparison with Ruben Dias, Maguire, Fofana, Skriniar... He matches up very very well.

- His ball recoveries are very good. So is Interceptions. That tells me that he is a front foot defender
- Aerially quite good as well. Maguire the better aerially but Romero is far better than average.
- He does concedes a lot of fouls than normal. Again for a front foot defender thats normal. But then he plays for Atalanta who are one of the most attacking teams which means backline is mostly not protected. If so, it is expected that a CB makes last ditch tackles and interceptions - resulting in fouls
- He makes less number of passes. This suggest to me that, we need another ball playing CB around him.
