Curious as to where the 40-50m is coming from if there's no player exchange. I know we're not skint, and presumably we've got outgoings lined up which will cover some of it, but it's just very un-Spurs like, especially in a post-stadium, post-covid scenario.

The agreement has not yet been fully closed because there are still some details to be filed, but there will be no problems in reaching the agreement for Romero to #thfc. [@DiMarzio]

So, at Atalanta he plays in the middle of a back 3. I wonder if this hints at Nuno potentially moving toward an attack-minded back 3 set up... similar to that of Atalanta, RB Leipzig.

Starts with a no-nonsense MCB. Seems like he fits the bill. As would Rodon. If we buy another defender coming from a back 3 system, then one can only assume he's going to have two systems in place: 1) Back 3 (that can be attacking and defensive) and 2) The hybrid 433 we saw against Colchester.

We still miss a left-footed Centre-back. That's the only thing that is not optimal about this signing. I miss Superjan so much.

Who would play LCB in 3 at the back?Ben Davies might be the best choice tbh.

Damned if I know. But hopefully Nuno and that Paratici fella have a plan!

(If I had my druthers, it would be Andersen... although he is NOT left footed, I believe he played as a MCB and LCB last season for Fulham, and for the most part, was excellent).
