Win our first game under a new manager who makes an interesting pre game comment about wantaway star who then continues to underperform. Of course people have something to say
Yes, they do, they’re all saying ‘look how big my dick is, as proven by tenuously linking my dick size to a situation involving Eriksen which barely supports my view on Eriksen’.

I love what he's done at Spurs but the guy looks like he's mentally zoned out. That's not something that comes back overnight. You can't turn on the intensity like it's tap. Lower your expectations for him.

You could see the sense of JM trying out Eriksen later on in the game. I hope Jose now has a clearer view. How fcking lazy he was. Players around him trying to ensure we keep our winning margin. Being on the pitch seemed an aggravation to him. His attitude is getting worse. He should be ashamed.

I think those complaining are just sick of seeing Eriksen in our shirt. We’ve got a new manager, it’s a new era etc and time to look forward.
Eriksen is not going to be a part of that because he wants something else. He’s a negative in what should be a positive time for the club.

Was pissed off that he came on instead of GLC. The one is our future the other one appears to think he’s doing us a favour by playing. Hope Jose sacks him off now quick sharp.

Be interesting how Jose manages him going forward, he said he's trying to find out where his head's at, on evidence of today's display it doesn't look like he's mentally checked in. We have 4 players who can play in the no10 position so it's not as if we need him.

For Eriksen I've always said that he needs to get his head straight, he needs to play himself into form for the Euro's and his next employers, if he carries on like this he won't get any games because Jose isn't going to stand for it, he either start to play well or he's gonna hurt his career.

If Eriksen won't sign a new contract and is leaving, Mourinho won't keep playing him like Poch did. He won't even make the subs bench.

We have a squad of players who actually want to be there.

Poch probably felt, understandably, that he wanted to show some loyalty to Eriksen but Mourinho owes him nothing.

He's either with him or he's not.

The short time Sissoko was on the field he was in two collisions that potentially could have had him injured for a spell.
That situation is never but never going to occur with Eriksen in the side and is one of the reasons we have not won a cup in his tenure.
The player that used to do the most running before Eriksen was Vinny Samways but at least he made a few tackles hence he was injured occasionally and contact injuries are never going to happen with Eriksen . Its called commitment and he has none except to himself he is a loser. I am not saying he should get himself injured to prove himself . I am saying the occasional contact injury would at least prove that he attempted to put his foot in where it hurts and perhaps people like me who have the perception of a player that is (a) not committed (B) does not and will not tackle (c) this is proof of his non commitment . I would stop being down on him .

He was not good today, but the criticism is a bit harsh, when the whole team played poorly the last 25 minutes.
I also think the sub was very weird from Jose. You don't put Christian on when you're getting pressured and are supposed to defend a lead. I'd like to see Lo Celso subbed on instead.

Would like to see him start vs. Olympiakos though, to see where his head at, and see if the manager chance has changed anything.
I don't think it has, and for that he should play as little as possible going forward if he doesn't wanna be here. But let's see in a few weeks time.

It's Jose though - he'll chuck Eriksen in with the idea that he won't perform and the fans will be happy for him to go in January.

Jose just hasn't realised that we're already quite content with that idea, and we know he's gone crap.

Lots of other players have started to look good under JM, so I don't blame him for wanting to see if Eriksen will pull his finger out.

Hope he's not relying on a scouting report between now and summer for a club to offer him a massive contract, or he will be very disappointed

I couldn't understand JM bringing him on today. We needed some strength and energy in midfield to help combat WH aggressive second half. Maybe JM did it to find out more about CE's mindset and whether he is committed to the team.
I assume he got his answer from that cameo,

Its not harsh as its not just today is it?
He's been, and continues to be, fkin awful.
Agree it was a daft substitution that made no sense.
I dont want to see him in a spurs shirt again. He offers nothing, doesn't want to be here, WONT fkin be here soon, so wtf is the point of playing him? Not like we have no other options either.
I hope he's happy wherever he goes and we all know how good he can be but his time here is well and truly done.

He first had him stripped off at 3-0 and coasting. Ideal conditions to see what Eriksen wants with little pressure or chance of causing problems.

Issue is, at 3-1, tell him go get dressed again will send the wrong message. I see why Jose did it but hopefully next time it will be GLC because Eriksen didn’t do himself any favours

Think he and (or) his agent have had a mare.

Seriously cannot see him moving to a team anywhere near our level.

There's already been talk that none of the big clubs are interested.

Wonder what his thoughts on Asia are...

Next move will show where his motivations truly lay.

Anyone know if he still has an offer on the table from us as I imagine Levy wouldn't be foolish enough to think he's gonna get any great fee for him in the future so the signing on fee and wages may no longer be worth it.

Poch is the key. If Poch lands a big job, he'll take Eriksen on a free.

Why would he? He's contributed in part to him losing his job in the first place. Great player but why would you take someone you know would happily lay down tools when he can't be bothered?

I think Toby, Verts and Eriksen and/or their agents have all had a shocker to be homest.
All had a delusional I'm Billy big Bollocks I'm off to a bigger club, youre holding me back and absolutely fk all has happened.
Their contracts are almost done and still nothing. I can certainly see Toby and verts being worse off due to their age. Someone may take a punt on Eriksen but will ot be as big a club as he thinks and as much money as he thinks? We'll see.
