I can't see him getting a new deal. He will leave and try something new. I might be wrong though.

Will be interesting to see if Jose plays Eriksen at all, limited or just freezes him out.

I can't remember if Jose is the freeze-out-guy? I think he is.

I'm just wondering whether the lack of interest might make him reconsider and he will perceive jose as a fresh start. Jose didn't like Mata and forced him out of Chelsea I remember that much. I'm not sure if Eriksen will be his cup of tea, he always prefer Lamela types like Willian for example.

Good point. However still thinking he would rather drop to a Top 3 club in a given country, just to try something new.
Don't agree on Jose not liking Eriksen at all. Actually I think Eriksen is a Mourinho-type. He runs a lot and works hard and doesn't set himself above the team.

So I think like @Trix mentioned, that Mourinho will have an individual conversion with all the players and Mou & Christian will decide.

However it's crystal clear that Mourinho doesn't want players who doesn't wanna play at the club.

Here's some quotes not that long ago:
"I don't like to keep players that don't want to stay at the club.

"I think it is always really difficult. I am not thinking about the economical perspective, I mean from a motivational point of view.

"We sold Robben to Real Madrid, Chelsea didn't want to or need the money. But he didn't want to be there and wanted to go.

"There are some moments where motivation affects performance and it is difficult to keep players happy when they have other dreams."

If he can rediscover form and reignite his interest in COYS, he'd be a massive asset. I'd love to have a rejuvenated Eriksen in the team. Fuck all the feelings 'n' shit, pussies.

Me, still waiting on Eriksen’s Instagram post thanking Poch who continually picked him despite a huge dip in form...

It's Dele mate!
Dele is playing himself back in from injuries picked up around the World Cup. Eriksen has no excuse. If and it's a big if the old Eriksen that ran this team wants to sign a new deal and remember how to play football again he'd be welcome back. Until then best for all parties he heads off in January and we can get some funds in to revamp the squad.

No excuses is just wrong if you're following that route.

So Eriksen didn't have a injury? He didn't play the WC? He haven't played for 5 full seasons in a row nonstop?

OK mate. (y)

Seems like we wont see much of Eriksen unless José is convinced that he's committed. Good.

Exactly what needed to be said and in the right tone.

I approve, which is a huge weight off Jose's shoulders I'm sure.
