Depends if anyone comes in for him.
If not then it will depend on him and how be acts.

I'm sure he will play if he gets his he'd down and trains, but if he throws a strop that real didn't try and buy him then I'm sure poch will bench him.

Its up to Poch but I trust that he will do what’s best for the group as a whole.

Personally, if he doesn’t sign I hope he loses his place on merit and see’s out the majority of the rest of his contract on the bench

We'll probably sell. But i'm hoping we use some of that dybala money to offer him a decent signing on fee.

Plenty of twists and turns left in this one IMO. The likes of Madrid, Barca, Atleti, PSG, Bayern, and Juve are all still maneuvering in the market and could all have different priorities develop that are impossible to predict right now.

Eriksen has to represent the best value in the market at the moment and I wouldn't be surprised to see any one of those clubs come in for him between now and the end of the European window. Will be very interesting to see what he does should that interest develop.

Bench him unless he signs contact. He could easily insist on a real Madrid release clause of £50m to stop him leaving on a free

Talking about one of the best players in the league here, it would be utterley stupid to leave him on the bench.

If he stays and doesn't sign a new contract Poch needs to do his job and get his head right, get him refocused and integrate him into the team, just because we have shiny new toys it doesn't mean we should just discard the old ones especially when they are meaningful assets.

It's for his benefit anyway if he stays for now - if he plays well it puts him in the shop window when he leaves on a free next year.

Would like him to leave. Think it’s clear that his heart hasn’t been in it for over a year now and I don’t see that improving if he stays. I only want players that 100% want to be here and want to win things here. The days of us being a stepping stone to the big boys are over (hopefully). Thanks for all your efforts over the past 5 years and I wish you all the best but If you don’t want to be here then don’t let the door hit your scrawny ass on the way out.

Even if he doesn't sign a new contract he'll have an important role for us to play. It sucks that Toby and Eriksen (...we'll see) are aiming to run their contracts down but it's imperative that we keep the club's forward trajectory and secure a top four spot + Aim at winning a trophy + Go deep in the CL campaign again.

Eriksen had a 'mediocre' 18/19 season but still had 27 combined goals and assists. It's not like we can afford to put a player like that on the bench on purpose.

The vibes are he is staying. Don’t know if that means he is signing a new contract. I cannot say I am 100% on it
Hopefully he’ll knuckle down and give 100% if he stays...similar to Modric when he didn’t get his Chelsea move. CE seems to get on with our squad and I’m sure the banter around the place will get him back onside once the season starts.

I'm sure he will be professional and get on with it just as Toby has.
I think a lot was made of how he played last season but he wasn't the only one to have an off season post world cup.
He wasn't as bad as people make out though and I don't think it was anything to do with wanting to leave either.
He should be back to his best this season especially with the added quality and competition we have now.

Let's get through the month of August first before we start writing hm off and teaching him a lesson, shall we? As far as i'm concerned he is a player that we need to play, and for him - he needs to play too. Right now none of us truly know what is going on with him. Yes there was Itk that said he has thrown his toys out of the pram, but that could only be levelled at Madrid/Barca etc. From what I can gather we haven't stood in his way to get his dream move so he hardly has anything to be shitty about imo.

We keep him. We need him really. He's a good boy, and in all honesty I'd do what he's doing.
His form last year wasn't great but he played so much, and to be the creative spark of a team has got to be mentally draining.
He's coming up to his peak years and he wants to be at a club that truly challenges year on year. We're not that yet. I would like him to sign a contract with a lowish around 40mil release, but if he gives it his all, and leaves for free I'll bear no grudges.

Surely a new contract with a reasonable buy out clause if one of the big Spanish clubs come in for him would suit all parties? Hopefully an option anyway.

Hopefully we keep him. Ideal world he signs new contract with some form of release clause. Other wise if he agrees to knuckle down for the season ahead and play like he has been prior to this year and give us 100% then we accept keep him and he will leave on a free next summer. But learn a lesson from this that you just can’t let a player enter final 18 months to 2 years of his contract now a days as end up in this situation.

Last resort If he still sulks and attitude doesn’t improve in next couple of weeks then it could be a case of selling him before the window ends.
