Him going to United would fucking suck.
But I’m not convinced that’s something he’s interested in but likely something Levy is pushing.
That's why I'm not getting on the lose all respect wagon, I doubt he wants that move but may be being forced down that route as he won't commit on our terms.
Checked out what Utd fans were saying about this and they really want him for his set piece delivery. One said it would be worth it for the 6-8 goals he could supply Maguire with alone. Interesting.
It was in jest, I believe the low corners are partially intentional.No-one can force him to go. By going to Utd at his age he'd basically end his chance of a move to RM/Barca. Hence why I'd lose all respect for him IF he went to Utd.
Whilst he gets a lot of stick for corners he has very good stats for indirect free kicks. It would be a threat.
Fucking hell really? Levy forcing a player to join United? What a lot of horseshit, United fucked up the Bruno deal, cant close the Dybala deal and have now turned to Eriksen.
Eriksen wants a move, he said he wanted a challenge (stated publicly), Real havent came in for him either have any other elite club, he has refused to sign a new contract... but yet STILL this is Levy's fault, catch a grip? People talk on here like United are some shite side, they are still easily one of the big 5-6 clubs in the world, probably the biggest support wise, and have still managed to win more than we have in the last 5 years, oh wait thats right no one cares about silverware anymore .
This is all on Eriksen and Madrid stringing him along no doubt, but that doesn't mean this link to Utd has been encouraged by Levy, as it would be the smart move for the club financially.
So where is this similar move to get rid of Toby? You can't make any player want to go anywhere and does Levy seem like the type of guy to lose any leverage by offering one of our best midfielders to, United a club he doesnt have the best of histories with? It's just all bullshit.
I actually think that this thread proves peoples general disdain for Eriksen, if anything. Apart from a few posters, the majority seem very relaxed and happy about selling one of the most creative players in the league and the only man who makes us tick, to a direct rival that desperately needs a number 10.
Money and all that, I know. But other teams have proved that isn't the only thing that matters recently.
You really believe that? Toby made up his mind up a long time ago to go on a free. Why do you think there were no offers for him? In my opinion any contact with his as simply met with a "not interested". Toby for £25m is a bargain for anyone
We sold Walker to City...We don’t sell our best players to Man Utd anymore so doubt this will happen. We only sale to the likes of Madrid nowadays. Poch told the fans to stop having this small club mentality. Let’s listen to him. As if we’d sell him to Utd, as if he’d want to go haha.
Of course he would, you're right. But he's taken his eye off the here and now.
Whilst Hazard didn't sign a contract he made sure Madrid remained interested by focusing on his performances. I don't recall him declaring where he was going but he committed to Chelsea for the season by putting in big performances. Eriksen has done the opposite, whilst I'm sure it wasn't deliberate he's talked himself out of the running by letting the interest effect his performances and then revealed to the world his intentions. He should have committed himself to Tottenham by ignoring the stories until they became very real.
He's let this run on this summer by not making any commitments to anyone and you can see that in his performances, he doesn't know where he is. His current situation is mirroring his performances.
