Silva though even though he’s short isn’t like as light or small in his legs etc, like Gil doesn’t seem to have any core strength and if he isn’t going to work on it then he can leave really, he needs to get on the bale at Madrid program but he hasn’t already to me suggests he just doesn’t have the body type for it

Fiorentina are working to give Vincenzo Italiano an outside player and in that role the coup could be Tottenham's Bryan Gil.


A Spanish winger born in 2001, he would be the ideal profile for the needs of the purple club and Spurs would be open to the transfer. Last season he was on loan at Sevilla and did very well against Juventus in the Europa League

As I stated before, I reckon Paratici had him high on his list of big talents to bring in whilst at Juventus and having rated him so highly, wanted to bring him to Spurs and pip others.

You have two types of scouting. First team + talent scouting.

I think this one was very much talent scouting - the ones you have to get because you believe they are a big talent.

The issue here is the transfer to get him, we lost a bigger contributor and still had to pay.

If Gil had come in for a straight up 20m fee, I think people wouldn't be as annoyed about this one.

Im 100% sure we will have that in mind but probably more for summer then now. I think he'd do really well in the Dutch league also.

The question is, if Gil goes do we need another WF? I guess until summer we can do with Werner LW but it really isn't his strongest position.
