How will we get medical done for Gil? I assume we will announce deal and do medical later.

apparenrly he’s due in London in a couple of days, Spanish fa have probably given him special dispensation to complete a move?

Really pleased that ITK is saying this is done, because he’s going to be getting a lot of interest from these Olympic cameos.
That’s what I’m thinking even in his brief appearance. The positions he took up where he was free in the penalty area was ridiculous. Clubs would have taken note his willingness to track back and want the ball is just what we need. Got to get this sealed ASAP

Wasn't there talk that we needed to fit in a medical for Tomiyasu at some point.

Probably quicker to send a team out and do both over in Tokyo.

Probably can't just have people going in/out of the Olympic village unless it's exceptional circumstances, even if they've been tested.

He did, but I just can't see it happening soon.
1 more game Vs Argentina where they need at least 1 point to go through.

If they get to the finals it will be on the 7th of August.

I can't see him flying to the UK for a medical and back to Japan with no quarantine at either side.

I prefer width and wingers beating a man, I wouldn't mind us lining up like this.....

Skipp. Hoijberg
Bergwijn. Kane (if he stays). Gil
. Son

Tell Kane, peh and Skipp to constantly switch the play. If you add reguillon and an attacking RB that would be exciting.

That still gives us Lucas, ndombele and lo Celso to come in. Add Ings and damsgaard to the equation and that would be a great mix of attacking talent.
Add someone of pjanics ilk to the squad as well. Big changes but it could be a very interesting season.
Gil and Reguilon will both occupy the same space if we set up like this. Reguilon is good on the inside and can underlap but surely the preference would be Son on the inside with Reguilon overlapping and Gil on the right.

Cant imagine that’s easy with all the covid rules going on over in Japan with the olympics. Same with Gil flying to london in the next few days. Can’t see that being likely with the Spain team still in the football competition.
