It’s a weird one because the physio started stretching it like it was cramp which you do not do if it’s a hammie injury. He walked off the pitch fine

That's an odd comment....Yeah he was fine. It’s because of price tags that people have unrealistic expectations.
Two of our greatest players started their careers slowly - Bale & Son
People need more patience
That's an odd comment....
He's had 1 sub appearance and about 60 minutes of football and but for a slight offside and a top class save he'd have two goals.
He hasn't started slowly and he doesn't need patience, imo (and Anges) he's already ahead of Soloman and perhaps even Richarlison.
Looks a very good signing to me.
He was walking okay after the game when the team went to applaud the Spurs fans.Looked more like cramp to me.
He was waking okay after the game when the team went to applaud the Spurs fans.
Agree, to me he just looked like someone who was still learning the tactics and isn't yet at the required fitness level whilst also playing in one of the biggest games of the season in a position he isn't as comfortable in. I really wouldn't judge him to harshly on it. It would be entirely understandable to be a little overawed by the situation, i mean watch his interviews, you can see how big a move this is for him. He just needs time imo, he will get there. But like i said, id still start Solomon ahead of him for now and leave Johnson to be an impact sub until he gets fully integrated and completely up to speed.I don’t think his fitness levels are up there with the rest of the teams, I don’t think it’s a desire or attitude issue more needs to work on his conditioning.
Scored a disallowed goal v Sheffield United and a wonderful save away from one yesterday. He is doing just fine as far as I'm concerned.Do people just need to vent and our good start means there's limited opportunity, cos the lad would've scored in his first start (in a NLD!) if not for a fantastic save. That's good enough for me.
Some people just like the taste of humble pieYou would think people would have learnt to stop making judgements on new players by now.
