I was optimistic on this earlier, but I just think we would have had vibes if he wanted to come.

Most likely is the interest was used to bait Betis and Sporting.

Which seems to have worked

But on the other hand backfired a little as we would of all been absolutely over the moon with Lo Celso and Fernandez a couple of days ago

Plus there is no bloody way we spend this amount of time negotiating if he isn’t interested in the EPL... so those twitter stories are utter BS.
Imagine agreeing a fee, having a meeting with agents all day. Then they suddenly turn around at 5 and go 'oooooooh you play in the PL, soz, no can do'...utter bollocks that part.

I have come to terms with probably not getting Dybala, just give me Lo Celso and Fernandes as compensation for the emotional stress you have put me under Levy and we shall call it even :sneaky:

Ryan Sessegnon is close to joining Tottenham
The 19-year-old has been a long-term target for Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino and the clubs are close to agreeing a deal.
Sessegnon impressed during his debut season in the Premier League, scoring two goals and providing six assists in 35 appearances, and featured for England U21s during this summer's European Championships.

Take a look at Sessegnon's best moments from Fulham's stay in the Premier League
He missed Fulham's opening-day defeat at Barnsley in the Sky Bet Championship last Saturday due to a hamstring injury.

Tottenham have also made a £55.5m bid for Real Betis midfielder Giovani Lo Celso while talks are ongoing with Sporting Lisbon over signing Bruno Fernandes.

However, Philippe Coutinho has rejected a move to the north Londoners from Barcelona.

We have to understand that time moves differently for the club/players and fans. We sit here for two or three months of the year hoping that a signing will be announced every few minutes that we hit f5 and it warps our sense of reality as we become increasingly demented. For Dybala time moves normally. A fee was only agreed yesterday so if it's going to happen it will happen tomorrow as I imagine he and the clubs will have a lot of shit to do.

Got a bad feeling about this one now. As much as I'm uncertain about Fernandes hopefully he is lined up when this one falls through.
