In football, Image rights are effectively a tax avoidance vehicle, and are used to allow a proportion of a player's earnings to be taxed at a lower rate. However, after years of abuse within the PL, HMRC has clamped down on their use un the UK and now restricts the value of a players's Image Rights to a maximum of 20% of his total earnings. I guess that the big question is whether Dybala can expect our HMRC to be as generous as the Italian authorities...So how do Image Star currently get remunerated for the image rights whilst he’s at Juve? Wouldn’t there be an agreement or structure in place already that we could work from? Or is it purely about a cut of the transfer fee everytime?
It’s pointless of us to pursue this if we didn’t have a chance. So I’m sure it’s going 50/50 at least or else this just was a waste of time. I’m thinking Bruno or Coutinho is dybala backplanDybala would be a statement signing however I don't see us completing this one because they're too many variable surrounding his image rights third party ownership and wages....it is far too tangled for us to complete imo.
Right we would know what he would want before we agreed a fee with juv
How does 2 x 120k equate to 350k?
Im sure we were told he was on 120k.
