Hey guys,

Heading to the game nice and early tomorrow. It's the 1st time I have been for a year and a half. I know the restrictions on parking have got worse the last few years as before I used to park not far from the stadium around a side road and walk from there. Now I believe it's restricted parking round there. Anyone got any suggestions? Or for anyone that drives regularly to the games, where do you park? Cheers guys

I think the message here is "don't try". Take public transport. The parking is restricted to stop you from driving to matches.

Years ago, I guess prior to 2005, I would park off Bruce Grove, usually in The Avenue. But it would take so long to grind my way through the traffic, then hunt down a parking space and then walk 10-20 minutes to the ground that I realised it would take no more time if I just took the bus. So that's what I do.

If you're outside London, then drive to a station or a bus stop that heads toward WHL, park there and take the bus or the train.

Also, as it's impossible to park anywhere near the stadium, it would be useful if you would tell people which direction you're coming from.

It's really not that bad imo. We've parked outside the hospital for the last 15 odd years with no problem.

I usually park up in Enfield and get the train 3 stops to White Hart Lane...trains are pretty regular and it take 10 mins on train and a short walk...

From the thread a few days ago requesting the same info:
Personally I park at the Sports ground near the IKEA, it costs a tenner but there's never any issues, it's pretty big and you get out before a lot of the traffic, I know some people park in IKEA for free but it always seems a bit sketchy to me.

There's bound to be free parking somewhere close, but I would expect it's extremely limited so don't be surprised if no one wants to share their secret parking place on a public forum read by hundreds/thousands of Spurs fans.

I'd rather pay the tenner for piece of mind personally mate
Postcode of the Sports ground if you need it.

The hospital maternity car park lets you escape directly onto the westbound North Circular, escaping the queues on the other side. And it's only £4.

Bull Lane/Queen Street.

However, if because I've recommended this to you, you've nicked my space and I can't get parked in time to get to the Queen's Cafe for a brekkers then I won't be happy. ;)

Couldn't get much nearer the cafe without driving through the window. :)

What do Bookers do if you miss the hour deadline after the match, any idea? I'm sure the last thing they want to do is clutter up their yard with my heap of junk because I stayed in the pub for another fortified mineral water.

I'm not sure. I never hang round too long after the match to avoid the traffic on the North Circular.

I go the nother way (not literally), I hang about in the pub s and chippies for an hour or ninety minutes after the match to avoid the queues. The MOT centre 50 yards from Bookers doesn't have gates so you leave when you're ready.

I used to park on the road next to the playing field, only fifty yards away but once my motor got done once I thought I'd pay to take the motor off the street and reduce the risk.
