The thing about Giroud is that we don't actually need a goal scorer. Last season in all competitions Son had 20 goals, Moura 19, Lo Celso 16, Bergwijn 15, Dele has been a double digit goalscorer every season except last, and Lamela pops up with goals when he's fit. There's goals in the side, our shape is just fucked.

What we need is a FW who can hold up the ball and give us proper attacking shape. Giroud can do a job there.

He is a twunt a proper one at that, albeit an absolute toss jockey, in football terms might and i say only might be ok for half the season, if posts a vid on line spitting on the Goonerscum shirt and the chavski one then ignites them both with a lighter , then maybe he can be allowed to join for 6 months or so.....???????

Exacatly what we had with Llorente. As slow and inmobile as Giroud. But he still scored a fair few goals for us last season. Important ones too and he brought everyone one else into the game. Not adverse to this signing at all. (if it happens)
