Have no idea what the answer is. Think I've accepted we will never challenge for anything under this ownership so may as well get someone in with an attacking philosophy, enjoy it for a few years before the realisation kicks in we won't push on and the manager's ideas will run out of steam and we move onto the next guy. We are not a football club hell bent on winning or even just challenging for silverware, just an entertainment's venue so may as well at the very least get that for the money we fork out. Like it or lump it, that is realistically our lot under ENIC.

Saying that, deep down I don't think I actually care who the manager is because ultimately I know we won't build anything that leads to us being able to consistently challenging. Poch, Gallardo, De Zerbi.....who really cares, whole thing will go down the shitter within a few years and we'll be back here offering suggestions on the next one.

Man this club just suck the joy out of football. I am so sick of the endless cycle we are in, I have lost all interest in this season and maybe I'll check back in in August to see if Spurs have sorted their shit out

I think it’ll be Poch, he wants to come and is available.

Nirmally I’d say never go back but something has to change.

Tuchel or De Zerbi. Not opposed to Gallardo at all either from what I've heard, but truthfully have not watched his sides.

I'm guessing we'll get Mason caretaker and Brendan Rodgers in summer.

Conte Countdown has started, thankfully we have just 12 more games of him in charge.
He came with promise and reputation but has failed to live up to any of the hype.
When he wanted to quit earlier in his reign we should have let him, no desire and negatively stubborn. Screaming from the sideline isn’t passion nor footballing nous.
Who brings on a CB when you have ten minutes to score a goal?? It sum up his entire managerial time for me, stubborn in his formation, lack of substitutions that had a desired impact on the course of any game…

12 games and counting… counting down.

Mason caretaker nailed on.

he'll win one, and get given it till the end of the season. we are basically giving up as a football club.

Plays 4-2-3-1, has managed well in Austria, Germany, Netherlands and now running away with the Portuguese league with Benfica and doing brilliantly in the Champions League, carries himself well too
The problem is Benfica did a lot to prepare for a coach like him.

They moved on Jesus' poor buys, they moved out players who'd been there too long and they played loads of youth players in the last few games.

We won't do that

Please god no not Tuchel. If we get another ex-Chelsea pragmatist I’m going to lose my mind

That sounds like exactly what we need down to the absolute T but you’re right, we won’t do that unfortunately

The squad needs gutting and a long term project needs to be embarked on. Find a coach who has a proactive approach and identity that we as a fanbase can invest in then give them the time and tools to bring it about. This win now bollocks needs to stop as we don’t have the clout to follow through. Jaissle, Gallardo and Carrick would be three of consideration for me.

What on Earth...where do you get the idea that Tuchel is a pragmatist??? He's one of the most innovative coaches in the sport and sets his sides up nothing like Conte/Mourinho. He's probably up there with Pep in terms of tactical flexibility.

I’m not really familiar with his work, but I do know that there was heavy criticism from Chelsea fans about the style of football they were playing under Tuchel.

Yeah I’ve been seeing this on here. It’s a complete fallacy. He’d be a great option.

Always thought it would be Poch but seems we've had info that not everyone at the club is on board with that. Do wonder whether one of the issues is whether Poch would work with a DoF. Expecting Paratici to go but but not sure we will dispense with a DoF and we were linked with the chap at Benfica.

Can imagine the Poch we would be getting this time around would be different to the one that walked into the club in 2014 and would maybe want control over transfers and having already had our fingers burnt with the likes of Ndombele and Lo Celso, maybe some would have reservations over his eye for a player and feel a DoF is a must.

Tuchel I just don't see tbh....think the next manager will be more someone more up and coming and who will toe the ENIC line for a few years imo.
Brighton will play hard ball over De Zerbi and not sure we'd want things dragged out. We are not a Chelsea who rock up and just pay and get their man so expect it would be messy. Gallardo....interesting one. Gamble no doubt making the jump to Europe and question marks over his English but a lot of people seem to like the way he sets his teams up. Don't really watch River Plate so no idea what we'd be getting.
