PSG is a shit show, doesn't matter who the manager is there the politics of the club will always destroy the manager.
You're absolutely right PSG is a shit show with a manager who has a few months left on his contract and refuses to say whether he will stay on, their managing director of football has been banned for 30 months in his home country which is likely to extended to worldwide & is being investigated for financial fraud which could well lead to jail time and the clubs record scorer and arguably one of the clubs best ever players has only 16 months left on contract......

No hold on .....

If and I emphasise the 'if' this is all true and Conte is now a negative influence on the squad why don't we put Conte on gardening leave till the summer and let Stellini run the show. I know he is part of Conte's team and a friend but if things were explained to him then he would be happy to step down,

they literally have a player that holds the cards on the running of the club, we might look foolish but we are anything but close to what PSG are. People need to wake up and realise how bad some football clubs are run

The most worrying thing about this latest potential development is that we now have the possibility of 18 more months of Dier, Davies, Sanchez etc. I can't wait!! ;)

Gallardo is like another Pochettino I think. Never managed outside South America though. If we are looking for a natural fit it would be Ruben Amorim right? Young, has won trophy's and plays the exact same system.
His teams get overrun in midfield every game and expose his shaky defence?

PSG have been worse this year than they were last, and will probably have the same record (league and R16 in the CL) - possibly not even that if they keep playing as they are. They’ve bombed out good managers before and will do so again - I don’t think it says much about Poch’s quality.

Kind of arguing over who is the tallest of the 7 dwarves here. We cannot pass judgement on how any club is run given the state we are in

I think half the problem is that the 'system' doesn't work in the Prem. It might come around again, but at the moment the system is rock, and the Prem is paper.

Does anyone really see a scenario where Stiellini and the others accept this? I personally don't think they would stay, I mean one of them is his brother.

Erm, I'm not so sure because I have only watched them against us. However I'd you look back to the title winning season i don't believe they lost and played some pretty good football I think but looking at highlights. The issue he seems to have is player sales, like Joao Paulinha to Fulham was quite a blow for him and I think he lost another few that didn't help his cause plus maybe injuries with my limited knowledge I think that could explain it. No idea how he'd do here though if he is an option.

Maybe, but we finished second to an outstanding Chelsea and got to a CL final with almost no backing. It is all based on how you build the team I guess and Gallardo will know the talent coming through there I believe.

Levy is not going from Conte to Carrick or kompany
Levy doesn't even know what he's going to do so wouldn't rule anything out .... Actually scrap that the one thing we can rule out is that there's a plan. I think we can definitely rule that out

Because sacking Conte now would really highlight Levy’s own shortcomings. He can save a little bit of face by waiting until the summer when the club can spin it like more of a clean break as opposed to another botched appointment.

Also we are still in two cups and in contention for the top four. Maybe Levy will be tempted to act sooner if that situation changes. Likewise if the dressing room turns on Conte. But we could theoretically be back in the top four by the end of the weekend.

The deal breaker for me with Pochettino is thus: he won’t work with a DOF and that has to be the single most important role at the club.

Never go back.

I think the state of PSG is massively overblown. It’s nowhere near as shambolic as people make out. They have a great DoF and very good manager right now.

Despite “struggling” this season, they will still walk the league (8 points ahead I think atm) but will probably be get knocked out by Bayern in the CL (no real shame in that)

Poch not winning the league in his first season was a real blot on his copybook imo (I know fans of Poch try to simply wave it away) but he did win it in his first full season so I’d say his record at PSG is mixed.
