I'm wondering if, like players, managers from other leagues can find adapting to the Prem hard. For instance they may, early doors, pick transfer targets with the physicality of their usual league in mind.

So a manager with Prem experience could avoid a bedding in period imo.

A part of me is beyond caring who it is apart from making sure they aren’t a 3 at the back defensive manager.
Three at the back is not in itself a defensive formation. For instance, Bielsa played a version of three at the back and was almost kamikaze attacking.

Amorim was first in my head but admittedly only because of the fits he gave us in the group stage, his youth and apparent energy. But that’s all I know about him; do they usually play attacking football?

It would be nice, however, to be the ones to get the top young managerial talent directly from Portugal instead of via Chelsea.

I’m the same, liked the look of Sporting too and be nice to get one at the start of his journey, fresh and innovative. Also he knows pedro and the wing backs system well and we could have 2 of the best next season

Balanced football, not really defensive but not really attacking. Has elements of both. Not having a great season but is a good coach. Would probably not be that hard of a transition from what we are playing now but is certainly more fluid. Personally I would prefer someone more attacking but I wouldn’t be against him. I’m sure @rossdapep will give a more detailed tactical description as he’s a fan.

Nagelsmann as well often plays 3 at the back. I personally have never really liked it because I feel you sacrifice too much going forward but it certainly can be an effective attacking tactic as you say.

No way levy paying that with other free options available
Unless we can agree on a loan to obligation over five seasons if he wins a trophy, I’m sure Sporting would go for it seeing how smoothly Porro’s deal went and they seem an amiable bunch to deal with….

I think Amorim and Atletico Madrid would be a good fit.

I'm guessing Simeone to Inter and Amorim to Atletico.

He's a massive West Ham fan.

Can see him replacing Moyes in the summer tbh
Yeah I'm obviously joking, but fair play to the guy, he's working miracles with Reims. They're having to fork out 25k every game he manages because he isn't fully qualified yet so he's clearly well thought of.

Someone will take a punt on him yes and like you say, maybe it will be someone like West Ham who need help getting out of the Championship.

Hadn't actually heard of him until a few days ago when he popped up at around 16/1 for us and asked the question on here about him (and Kjetil Knutsen).

He is doing remarkable all things considered and from what little i've managed to scope on him he's certainly a name to watch because like you alluded to at some point you'd imagine a British club will sought after him.

Ali Gold said Fonseca was on Hitchen AND Paratici's lists.

Cant remember for sure but something like

Paratici list was something like Conte, Gattuso, Spaletti, Fonseca

Hitchen list was Poch, Ten Hag, Flick, Rangnick & Fonseca
