Ange can't justify some of these selections, he's waiting for players to regain form to the detriment of the team.

No one likes favourites.

Don’t think we have been all that bad. The goals were unfortunate, first one very unlucky the second a horrendous individual error by Porro.

Bissouma has had an absolute howler in midfield though. Needs taken off and dropped for the run in.
They have walked through us countless times. Since they scored we fell to pieces

The fact that bringing Holjberg on seems like a good option shows how far we still need to go before we think CL is a good idea. Such a disappointing performance again. Even if we end up winning today it’s still a major concern that we still put in performances like this first half.

Two chances falling to Werner who can't hit a barn door. Everyone else very average or worse. Showing that unjustified cockiness again that leads to disappointing defeats. Need a rocket at half time before another long break. As plenty others are saying, Bissouma and Madisson are either in a comfort zone or simply unfit because their 2 yards off the pace.

We want so much time on the ball, just stunned by how low our intensity and sharpeness is.

It’s so slow. Gives Newcastle all the time in the world to get back into position and hit us on the counter — which is easier when our retention is non-existent.

Concerning half of football, Newcastle not having to do a lot and to be fair counter attacking very well with Isak and Gordon.

For me, might be very unpopular saying this: Maddison needs to come off now, out of form and you can see that he’s very frustrated which could lead to a red if he don’t watch it.

It will be interesting to see if Ange makes those h/t subs like he did last week. Perhaps Hojberg for Biss to solidify things and give Lo Celso a go for Maddison.

Ange keeps on starting the same underperforming players & this is what happens
Yea that I’d fully agree on Ange really should’ve started PEH and Lo Celso not Biss & Maddison but our front 3 haven’t been great, especially Werner who’s having one of his very wasteful games.

I can forgive poor play or odd missed pass but the lack of effort and being so easily pushed off ball is non negotiable as top player.
Hate to say it but first time I'm questioning Ange.

So much wrong today. The GK, defence, midfield and attack all guilty of really poor play. A real collective shitshow.

I've said so many times but we're not going anywhere as a side until we tighten up. In a different way to how we did under Conte, we can give 'lesser' sides way too much joy.

I look forward to the usual "Ange needs his own players" discussion after the game and in the summer.

Every time it's always the same excuses.
I don't know if it qualifies as "Ange's Player" - but we desperately need a DM who can boss the game. Bissouma has shown its not him - on a regular basis.

Then, one thing Ange got wrong today - nobody in the forward line can hold the ball up. When Richarlison is out, Kulusevski should be playing with two of Son/Johnson/Werner. That was a tactical error from Ange.

Lucky to just be two down, so we need to rely on our usually strong second half and hope we remember how to defend...

Getting bullied on the ball. Can't cope with the press.
Udogie has to be stronger in the challenge with Gordon to prevent the first goal.
Porro absolute suicide ball for the second.
Bissouma and Maddison offering nothing again.

Dont think our good ten minute spell in the second half is going to win us this game.

And let him do so at another club next season. Awful signing outside of a purple patch to start this season which ended spectacularly with a dive against Luton. Conte was right never to play him.
I'm concerned you might be right about why Conte never trusted him
