No way. His confidence will be rock bottom and he's playing away at one of the best pressing teams in the league. Be a disaster.

Way to do it his bring him on for bits in games we are comfortably winning. Or just leave it till the end of the season when he will leave anyway. I doubt he wants to get on anyway.
and therin lies the problem, I just cannot see us being in this position in any of the remaining games left this season.....

I see. I over-valued their love.
Away fans tend to be young?
That was just my experience and so I can’t speak for everyone, but I suspect that for many the weekend in Newcastle with pals will carry more appeal than the football itself

Does anyone believe we turn up there at St. James with a roaring crowd and get a victory?

I mean, do they even have a chance? I don't think so.

Nope. Sadly I see a pretty routine 2-0, or 3-0 win for Newcastle.

We have zero confidence. Our players make at least three or four catastrophic mistakes per game. Most of the lads body language has been shocking. Most of them already off on holiday.

Plus Stellini is just doubling down on all the shit things Conte did. Even if he switches to a back 4, he still won’t play Sarr. Danjuma still won’t get a start. And we don’t have the full backs to make this formation work without Royal and Davies. Porro and Perisic at full back will be disastrous.

And then there is just the bad luck aspect… we have looked dreadful without Bentancur, Davies and Royal in our starting XI. Very sad that all went down with long term injuries. Same with Bissouma.

Can I just say fair play to the away fans who are travelling up to the game. Genuinely fair play to you.
I'm that pissed off at both Levy and the players that I'm not even going to watching it from comfort of own house so your commitment is top class.
Last few weeks watching us has really affected my mood/head for alot longer & alot more than it should so I've organised trip out with wife and kids so il miss it. First game this season I will miss.
Hope the players give the away end something to cheer on, safe travels to all those going to it.

No can only see us get beat by mistakes due to their press and loris Dier holjberg and skip not good enough to handle and keep the ball
Liverpool now closing in on us and we won’t get anything up there either think we’re gonna be 8th very soon

Massive game this, it could be a significant factor in whether we finish seventh or eighth.

I've mostly been enjoying football since last weekend... Arsenal dropping points, Chelsea losing again, United shitting the bed, Arsenal dropping more points, Bayern losing and Dortmund winning convincingly to go top of the Bundesliga...

Unfortunately now Tottenham have to play and it's not going to be pretty.

Well then you have to sacrifice Davs feelings unfortunately. Can't play a bloke who despite giving his all is a liability, just to make him fell better. The booing was terrible and has rightly been admonished but that's as far as it should go for me.

At this point I don't care about positions... I'd even welcome a season without Europe. I just want us to attack and start enjoying ourselves again.

I actually wouldn’t mind ecl if it meant we used it as a chance to blood the youngsters. Spence, Devine, sarr, Gil etc.

Just want to see us have a go at this point.
Completely agree, there's literally no point at all in trying to keep it tight and sitting back. Apart from Nottingham Forest and Leeds, if you look at current form we are quite possibly the most ill equipped team in this league to do this.

I'd rather see us lose giving it a go rather than lose in the same way we have been serving up performances in the manner we have been seeing since and including the Southampton game. If we play in the latter way I'm 99% sure we will lose, if we give it a go we might still lose but at least I'd give us more than a 1% chance of not losing.

How the coaching staff and players can't see that when we can see it and all the opposition can see it and even opposing fans can see it is frankly beyond me.

Expect us to get battered. Whilst Stellini is in charge I almost don’t even care
