Sell him NOW
oh hold on.. oops..

I don't see anything wrong with that bid and I said so at the time. 1 cap at the age of 25 at the time DM for mid table side virtually unknown to most football fans.I read in today's Sun that Levy was trying to screw Soton last summer by only offering £10m for Schneiderlin. This, according to the Sun, has fucked Morgan right off and he now wants to sign for Arsenal.
It was just never going to be accepted by Southampton in a window where they were getting outrageous amounts of money for their other players and no longer in need of sellingI don't see anything wrong with that bid and I said so at the time. 1 cap at the age of 25 at the time DM for mid table side virtually unknown to most football fans.
Liverpool and Wenger fucked this transfer. Soton got crazy amounts for their players and I would like to see how much they will be sold for this summer. It was just never going to be accepted by Southampton in a window where they were getting outrageous amounts of money for their other players and no longer in need of selling
Might have been a reasonable bid logically by the criteria you mention but it is far from realistic in terms of what they were ever going to accept at the time in my opinion and therefore a waste of time if true
Still yet to be impressed by MS. All the hype etc. I watched closely when we played the saints earlier in the season and our reject Capoue had him for spare change. That speaks volumes for me

It would be Bentaleb. I wonder if his excellent form might put a move for MS on the backburner?
If he arrives in January I'll donate £100. And that's a lot of money given my January tax bill.
PhewWe've already played them at home so i think your bet is as save as a nuns snatch to be honest.
I was caught up in the hype, but like you when I've seen him this season (against us and pool) he hasn't looked like a 20million pound player.
I haven't watched him enough though and all their fans seem to think he's the one. Fans know their players best and if they think he's daddy in a pretty decent squad he must have something about him.
This. Had Levy given in to Southampton's demands, we would be the ones to be screwed. The problem here is that Schneiderlin is vital to Southampton. To them, he is a £30m player, especially considering the fact that they're loaded from the summer. I don't think it's possible for us to agree a fee for Schneiderlin that represents value for money.I don't see anything wrong with that bid and I said so at the time. 1 cap at the age of 25 at the time DM for mid table side virtually unknown to most football fans.
Take it that means it was true?
I don't think he'll go in Jan. Next summer looks much more likely. It just had to be ArsenalIsh..... We offered a lot more that(on deadline day), but nowhere near what they wanted. The Arsenal bit is the bit that unfortunately I agree with, and that is where I hear he will end up in January. From what I'm told we are not even interested in trying to compete with them at the prices being talked about. Thanks to Ade reverting back to type and others blindly playing following the leader, incoming priorities have changed massively.
I think it's a question of what is more important a top drawer CF or CM, because both won't happen for sure. Considering our other options available in those positions, a striker is seen as a must now that we only have two to call on.
