Can't see this happening in January or next summer to be honest.

What did we sign Stambouli for or is he a different type of player (I.e would he play alongside MS if we did sign Morgan)

I ask that as a legitimate question as I've only seen 2 fucking seconds of Stambouli play since he's signed for us, stupid fucking Spurs with their stupid transfer bollocks.

We won't get MS, we'll then sell Dembele and Paulino and sign 2 other mugs who are just as worse and exactly the same as the shit we already have

He's very slow, apparently, for starters. Marseille were strongly after him but i guess the French league is slower than the PL.

Imagine they'll sell him this summer, assuming they don't make the CL.

Surely our best hope to get MS is to clear the decks in Jan - then go in with an early bid in May.

This is why the suggested Rabiot loan deal makes sense.

Could move on players, and have greater flexibility in the summer.

Looks like January 2017, like you say, all signs point to summer, 1.5 years left on deal, still get a good fee.

I don't think signing a midfielder that hasn't played in the PL makes any sense in January, we've already tried that with Stambouli. MS or no deal for me at the moment.

He looked fine in the 20 minutes against Sunderland, and hasn't looked abnormally slow in most of his other matches - not quick certainly but mobile enough. It's most odd.
