Yea the feeder tag will last as long as players leave us for Champions League clubs, once we are in the Champions League (By that I mean actually get to it, not do an Everton) then hopefully players won't need to move on in order to play in it.

Van Nistelrooy, Beckham, Ronaldo. Small-time Man United are Real Madrid's feeder club.

Then again, I don't think the big teams were interested in any of our players between Klinsmann and Carrick.

Possibly, aside from Sol Campbell. A good indication of how much better we're getting, now that more of our players are seen as potential targets for the top 4.

You'd hope that in this coming season we'd have an other quality now in our squad to make the step up and push for 4th and then follow this with more recruiting next summer!

Thus meaning we wouldn't have to sell!

we are not and never have been any club's feeder club, and for the vast majority of the past 60 years have not been a selling club

we haven't been a selling club since ENIC took over. The possible exception is Carrick but I don't think we forced to sell him for financia reasons - but no-one seems to know the truth

we´re a trading club for sure, we buy and sell

If Berba goes to Manchester United, he would be the 3rd player they've nicked off of us in the last 10 years. Not good at all.

Sheringham, Carrick, Berba? Modric in two years time?

in the last twenty years two players have left spurs for MU - how many leeds players - how many sporting lisbon - how many wrexham - I bet if I went thru MU´s transfers I could find atleast 3 and probably five or more clubs where 2 or more players have gone to Utd - how many feeder clubs have they got

Was Brazil and Mcgrath in the last 20 years... more like 30?

brazil was 84 i think - hence my statement 2 in the last twenty years

not sure about mcgrath

edit - from google it seems 1976

so one in 10

2 in 20

3 in 30

4 in 40

pretty consistent and I bet quite a few clubs have similar or greater numbers

quick check showed leeds with at least 5 notts forest with 5

stopped searching then as stats show convincingly that Spurs aren't even the biggest transferees to MU let alone a feeder club

Sad I won't get to see him play today. Can't wait to watch the Turks and the Croats go at it.

I heard he may be getting rested, Croatia might rest any play on a yellow as well, or so the rumours were

- Modric linked with Summer 2009 move to Manchester United

- Modric helps Spurs lift Premiership trophy in May 2010. All is forgiven!

If Berba leaves, and i pray to god he doesn't, i think Modric will help us forget about him sooner rather than later...

With the two of them in the same team... CL is a CERTAINTY, yes CERTAINTY!!!! You all just wait and see...
